The front desk check in area is ridiculously small. There's only one employee checking appointments in. It took 15 minutes to be helped, and there was only 1 customer ahead of me.
I'm not impressed with their Honda service. I had a warranty repair done and had a handful of bolts left in my cup holder on one visit. Since I knew where the part was on my vehicle, I put them back in. Definite lack of quality control but not a big deal.
I also had to have a door locking mechanism replaced and they tried replacing the battery in the remote as part of the troubleshooting apparently and broke the head of the screw off. I noticed it and they denied that it happened on their watch. It looks like they tried to get the screw out but couldn't get a bite on it. They offered to sell me a new key which I declined as I had a spare at home and I can get the key made elsewhere with an OEM key blank and the key code at a much lower cost. Today I dropped in to ask for the key code and they want $16.95 for it.
Yuma, San Diego, and Palm Springs have better dealers and worth the drive if you can.
Sales manager is VERY arrogant and didn’t even bother looking or speaking to us directly. If you can drive to El Cajon, I would HIGHLY recommend going to their dealership. Direct Auto Plaza Honda desperately needs a course in customer service.
Horrible place! Don't go here at all! Be warned! Scam Artist!!! I wanted a new Honda Civic SI. So I decided to look around. I went to a Honda dealership out of town first, the MSRP on the vehicle was $24'000. So I thought i'd come back home, and give Direct Auto Plaza a shot before I decided. So I look on their website and find a Honda SI sedan in stock, cool, I go check it out. I test drive it, and decide I want it. So the sales man runs my credit. I have a excellent credit score, so I didn't want to put anything down. I leave because I had to work, but I was willing to discuss payments over the phone. He called me, and told me my payment was going to be almost $500 a month. I nearly laughed out loud. I claimed that was no where near what I wanted to pay. He then states he will see what he can do. Calls me back, and states he lowered the payment to ruffly around $450. That was "the best" he could do. I just bought a brand new 2016 Prius for my fiance earlier in the year. $30,000 car, 0 down, 0% interest rate, $390 a month. Don't let these scammers fool you! Fast foward a month later. I return with my friend because he wanted a Honda SI as well. The sales men outside didn't even want to help us. They gave us an attutide the whole time. They didn't even allow my friend to test drive the vehicle. They claimed he needed to run his "credit" before he could drive it. When I went a month prior and test drove the vehicle with just my ID. Them they stated that the car's MSRP was 26,000 when sticker price stated it was 24,000. I told him I came last month for the EXACT SAME vehicle and it was $24,000, so he lied. They will raise the price if you are young. They will assume you can't afford the vehicle! Don't buy from here. VERYun professional.
I have purchased 3 vehicles from Direct Auto Plaza Honda, always had nothing less than a pleasant experience. Professional staff and have always managed to find exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend them to friends and family and will definately be going back for car #4
I wish they can deliver my car if India is willing to bring forth my vehicle hey I would love that there you would go out of their way to make me a proud customer thank you I appreciate it
I do NOT recommend the Honda Direct Auto Car Care in El Centro to anyone. The customer service employees were horribly disrespectful and service ridiculously slow. A very poor quality of service. We had scheduled an appointment with this facility for 9:30. After two and a half hours of waiting in there primitive holding area, our car just sat there untouched by their mechanics. We just sat there wasting time, accomplishing nothing! So, I asked for my keys then left. Two and a half hours after my SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT and nothing was accomplished.
I left the horrible car care facility and when straight to Pep Boys in El Centro Ca. Our car's oil change was complete within forty five minutes. Without an appointment and with great customer service.
I'm going to cut and past this survey response and send it out to every available social media source and the Honda Headquarters.
My brand new car had a small dent that I was told would be taken care of and here we are 9 weeks later with nothing resolved. I have called multiple times and have spoken with the manager with no intention of helping me resolve this. I have spoken with the "customer care" center who also have done nothing because all they do is pass the message along. That is exactly what I was told by an employee. I then emailed one of the "senior" management staff and the email came back unsent. Which also concerned me because I got the email off of their website. It's unfortunate to see how customers are treated during and after purchase of something so important in their lives.
Phone service sucks no ones available to take your call or attend your needswhat's the point of having staff on duty if they're gonna redirect you with some other person and so on.
So I arrived today hoping to get a price check on an engine mount for my 2011 honda civic Unfortunately the associate that usually helps me out was busy attending to another customer.. I was instead helped out (if you want to call it that) by some red headed woman at parts with a really bad attitude. Before coming to honda I compared the prices on the internet vs the dealership. The price online was $270.00 with taxes and shipping included. However being that I wanted to save some time I decided to go to the dealership. When I asked the woman why the price was so high ($377.00) compared to online she replied in a very short and rude manner telling me "I don't know sir, Honda makes the prices not me". I then excused myself and told her I would be right back When I arrived at the counter to pick up my engine mount that I had brought in for reference there was an associate in front of me asking why I had left the part on the counter to which the red headed woman replied "I don't know but what I do know is that I don't want it here" and then she proceeded to roll her eyes at me. Listen I'm sure all of us have worked in retail/sales at some point in our lives and know it's difficult at times but I don't think I could have been any nicer or polite with this woman Honestly if you don't like working with people you should find another line of work!
Finance, the guy running it, very unprofessional. I could say more but I won't.
We had one positive experience in purchasing a 2015 Accord (July), however, this past weeks (Aug 2016) experience was unfortunate. Our salesman was unenthusiastic. To be bold, we felt as if he didn't 'like us.' We received no counter offer, even after providing all of my personal information for a credit check we received no dialogue. We slowly walked out of the establishment with no further attempt at receiving my businessvery unusual.
I will not return to this establishment nor recommend this establishment to any one in the Imperial Valley.
My wife and I had been shopping for a new Honda for a few months and decided to stop by Direct. The experience was great, they answered a couple questions that I had. I was concerned about financing but they know what they're doing for sure. Big kudos to the staff, you do a good job making people feel welcome.
