  Diena is the owner and she's amazing she took time out and gave me a hug and personally thank me for
  visiting her salon her entire coworkers are amazing, when u walk in the reception greet you and know you also make your first time your best feels like family, tge gospel music is fantastic, you will feel relaxed,welcoming, my hair was super short she took her time and made feel beautiful again. My beautician was fantastic she took her time thank you.

  Appointment at 5 p.m. , waited 45 minutes. I then asked the “receptionist” how much longer the wait will be and she advised another hour. If you all knew you were running behind why not give me a courtesy call and advise! I received 3 text messages reminding me of my appointment but when I get there we still have to wait. Unacceptable. I will not book again.

  I hold a very high standard when it comes to my hair and getting it braided. My first experience was incredible.. I had Tara who is outstanding by the way! It was so incredible I just had to go for a second time. However, my second time around wasn’t what I had experienced at my first visit.. due to the employee being on her phone more than braiding my hair. I voiced my concern to Diena (owner), and she got with me immediately and took action. She truly cared that I wasn’t happy with how long it took, and the behaviors that were displayed. Diena is one of the most kind hearted individuals I’ve come across and she deeply cares about her business and clients. I spoke up cause I didn’t want this one time to ruin my views on this place cause I’ve never found a place I love more than DSN. Everyone here is fun, outgoing and they really listen to what you want and they give you exactly what you ask for. I always feel confident and my best self when I leave here and I don’t ever plan on searching elsewhere. It’s worth every penny.

  I loved the positive professional environment. I found them through style seat and was excited to find a braiding shop in the McKinney area. Unfortunately my appointment started 30+ minutes later than scheduled and I did not get what I asked for. I asked for medium boxed braids and ended up walking out with small partially braided braids with wavy ends. The hair style looked good but was not what I wanted. I partially blame myself because I should have asked to see my hair before the stylist finished. My stylist confirmed that I wanted medium box braids before she started so I was under the impression my hair would be styled as per my request. I was too trusting expecting to get what I requested. That being said I would have to give a three stars because I will likely have to uninstall my braids sooner than planned.

  I took my daughter to her first beauty shop appointment and this was the best place to go! My daughter was a little nervous but Diena and her stylist Amaka were so caring and understanding…my daughter said she wants to go back again for her next appointment. Thank you for making this a good decision for me!!!
