The place itself is fun. There are plenty of activities for kids, camel ride, petting zoo, mechanical rides, food, etc However there is no actual pumpkin patch. If you get on the Merry-go-round, you better grab on to your kid and then you hang on for dear life because the thing is so fast it should be called the Insanely-go-round. Parking is horrible. It's open field with makeshift dividers and no traffic light or cross guard. Except you don't realize what you are in for, until it's time to leave. As the entrance is also the exit, we were stuck there for about 25 minutes with a non-stop flow of vehicles coming in. Along with a non-stop flow of people who were both coming in and leaving and had to cross in front of you. As busy as this place is, it would be fair to their customers, if they were to make an exit that is far apart from the entrance. Regardless, I don't think we'll be going back after our experience.

Great tomatoes & corn on the cob, other veggies too. Lots of pumpkins & fun looking gourds for sale in festive fall displays, beautiful mums and ornamental kale. Always a nice place to visit!

This farm has been around and active for 105 years! Their corn and tomatoes are the best around the area. Perhaps you have had some of their produce at one of the area restaurants. If you shop at Sunset Foods you have had their produce. And, coming up during September and October, it is turned into a place for families, buses of school children and tours since it becomes a maze, they have rides, etc. Check them out online for the schedule. But, get there early for parking. Better yet, get a group together and carpool. I have been going there for close to 30 years. It is also easy to get to.

Went for fall festivities and had a great time. There were lots of people there (went on a Sunday), and parking lot was slow, but it actually never felt too crowded once inside. Free admission (which is great), and you just pay for the stuff you ride. Prices were reasonable for that too.

Word of advice- Go during the week! The staff tells me the weekend is horrible! My son and I went on a Monday and we literally had the place to ourselves. He spent over 2 minutes on each ride and got lost in the corn maze. There is also tractor hay rides and with your tickets you can spend all day in there and enter multiple times. The same with the petting zoo. I didn't go into see the parakeet cage but not a big fan of parakeets. Many of the pot painting and food was closed but I heard from a vendor that they were not that good. Go in September! Their pumpkins are cheaper than in the grocery store esp if you plan on a great display for the fall. The pony and camel rides are great but my son didn't have to wait long since there are not many people on Monday but we got fresh kettle corn. Yum! Their apple cider donuts were being made when we got there and were piping hot when I bought them. There is no admission fee and parking is also free. We are going to make this place a yearly event!

A great little landmark in Buffalo Grove. A little crampt with all the attractions, but it works. When you are here, go in the corn maze, petting zoo, pumpkin patch and hay ride. Buy apple cider donuts, caramel corn, and a pumpkin. I want to give a huge thanks to the ladies who worked at the Carmel Corn store because they were very nice and let us try whatever we wanted in the whole store.

I would love to give five stars. What holds me back is certain attractions require EVERYONE to have tickets.
I understand it's a business and that's how they make money, but honestly, I believe more people would partake in certain attractions if ONLY the children needed tickets.
I love bringing my boys to see the animals and pig races, but I had my husband go with them because we literally just spent $20 (20 tickets) on the camel, and my boys wanted to ride some of the rides. So, literally $35 total to look at and feed animals and then ride the camel.
Yes, that's our choice to enjoy our time with our children this way. But to also hear other parents say the same thing (takes too many tickets, kiddo, sorry), I think it would be beneficial to change that.

My two cents, don't like my review, write your own.

The Farmstand itself and the employees are amazing and we appreciate the hard work and deliciousness! This is why we come every year!
