CTCA saved my dad's life this place is amazing! You can go one day thinking it's over and now three years later my dad's living life and loving every day! Dr. Piesek and so many other doctors I can't even thank the Doctors and this place enough so grateful so grateful so grateful💕10000000000000 star ⭐️ plus hospital not to mention it's not even a hospital it's a beautiful resort they treat you like you're beyond famous ! Pamper you and wait on you hand and foot💝 and positive positive positive attitude positive attitude it's wonderful knowing there's hope❤️😁 this place I recomend to everyone it's wonderful wonderful I cannot even explain in words cannot explain every thing about this hospital is beyond amazing 💕 every single person in this hospital cares about our family as if we are their own family! Check this place out yourself you will not be sorry 💕 also I'm not sure on the negative review on a previous person what they're talking about we have experienced none no one is treated differently this place is the most respectable place I've ever been to ! If you read a negative review I'm sorry for the mad person's but this place is beyond amazing you'll have to see for yourself💕

Very disturbing why a simple inquiry regarding insurance acceptance earned a run-around. I thought this was supposed to be this great institution. Terrible response from a hospital with their supposed reputation.

Speedy diagnosis and treatments. Dedicated doctors and nurses, a team that covered every physical and emotional issues that I have encounter since my diagnoses. I have stage 4 non small cell lung cancer that spread to the lymph nodes. I have been in remission for 1 year. Continues scans and doctors visits put me at ease as to knowing whether the cancer has returned. I highly recommend Cancer Treatment Center of America! I go to the Zion Illinois Center.

Good is the opposite of bad, just as night is the opposite of day. Be mindful of that when dealing with certain aspects and people of this hospital. As far as immediate facility care, they do a good job, however there is a dark side.
My mother is currently a patient and her diagnosis will eventually lead to her death. I've accepted that, but what I can not accept is the treatment of those who guide and direct what's left of her "recovery". Be warned; once you leave this hospital, if you are guided for treatment elsewhere while the CTCA treatment is being done, you will be handled as if you are a welfare recipient applying for placement in a shelter. There is a serious undertone of money in this area. If you don't have it, to bad, go die around the corner because that's the only place willing to take you to die ( or sign away your loved ones property or 401k's and let someone give them $30 of their own money, or even worse; let someone take them in a facility and scam Medicare for the first 20 days and then get kicked out, knowing the person you're taking is dying, and the insult to Injury is the place is a dump!) The sad part about it is I'm sure those directing you know this, have heard this or are suspicious of this, yet they still direct you that way.
Money and insurance definitely play a part in the decisions of treatment when it comes to this place. I don't believe it to be racial, but unfortunately, this is why so many African Americans die from the "cancer" diagnosis and it's primarily because they have no choice but to go as directed and receive treatment equivalent to a social worker helping you in your public assistance local shelter.
Remember using common sense when dealing with this hospital as well as with anything in life;
There is always good, but there too, is always bad. CTCA is no exception and that within itself is a conflict (as there motto is fight cancer, not die and before you do, give me your money) of interest. A hospital of this caliber should associate and reflect morals & integrity. It is the difference between compassionate care with dignity,
as opposed to cancer,
black in color,
convicted with biased commitment and "cured" with compromised concern!response / report this review -

This place is a refreshing difference from the treatment we have received at home. My wife has was not receiving proper treatment at home and we started looking for another place that would help. Cancer center has treated her like a patient they want to cure and not someone they merely want to treat. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for hope during a dark time.

Being so far from home, not much they can do between appointments. End up talking to someone and then being referred to a local care givers until next trip out. Great otherwise

Best ever. Wish every hospital treated their patients this way. The others need to learn a thing or two from CTCA as far as hospitality.

I love how organized and friendly they all are. The doctors and surgeons are the best ones I've ever met. Very professional and I'd highly recommend anyone battling cancer to try them. They are the best!!!
