We booked Diamond Hills Hotel because we wanted to do two day-hikes in the Catskills. It worked out perfectly for us. The staff was really friendly, someone who appeared to be the owner told us about the town of Saugertis when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The shower was so nice after a sweaty day in the mountains. We dined at the adjacent restaurant too, which was convenient, and I loved the octopus. There was a waterfall behind the hotel, which we could view from our balcony too. It was overall a nice experience!

Our waitress, while smiley and efficient serving our party of eight was oblivious to our conversations and blatantly interupted individuals pushing menus into hands and asking questions without regard to what was going on at the table. Three of us had salmon and we all agreed that each piece was slightly off in smell and taste, a bit too old. It effected my digestive track later.

A fantastic place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and have a wonderful balcony overlooking the Saugerties waterfall. The staff are top notch and make the guests' satisfaction as their highest priority. They even deliver the most delicious handmade chocolates before bedtime. The Tavern is a great place to dine, featuring beautiful views, wonderful service and an extensive list of food selections.

The staff are all very attentive and helpful. We attended the mother's day brunch this past weekend; the selection and quality of the food was impressive. The building is very well maintained and very clean. Beautiful view of the falls.

It was a great stay for a wedding party! Even though there was an employee who stole money while they were cleaning up; the manager on duty took care of it and sent the employee home and returned the money. Otherwise it was amazing!

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and we return for our anniversaries. The room, as always, is immaculate. The view is exquisite. We got complimentary tickets to the Performing Arts Center so that was a plus. Also, they service the room well, and bring you chocolates each night. It is a shame that the Diamond Mills Tavern was closed this year because we enjoy it, but we found the Red Onion instead, which is great. The only odd part was that when I asked for a late check out, I was told no, but when I asked again the next day, they did give us a half hour so it worked out. We can't wait to come back!
