I and some of my friends drive half an hour to come here and get a sandwich from Canton, OH because .its a REAL SANDWICH. Pastrami and Corned Beef are my 2 favorites - prices are awesome. Staff is friendly and attentive. Love the New York Jumbo Pastrami sammich yo It makes me happy

Was greeted by super friendly staff, talked through the impressive menu when we weren't sure what to order. Ended up having the "Billies belly pleaser" and it was delicious! The other people in my group also really enjoyed their food. Good atmosphere with the friendly staff and excellent, overstuffed sandwiches.

I've been craving a good pastrami sandwich ever since I had one in New York. I didn't think I'd find a place that would satisfy my cravinguntil Diamond Deli that is. it was fantastic, finally I got a place to go locally instead of waiting for a trip to New York. thanks to those that suggested to me

One of my favorite restaurants in Akron! Great food and friendly service. Don't be discouraged by long lines as they move through quick. Small inside as they do a lot of carry out business. Highly recommend!

I've been here alot! In fact it's my favorite place to get a clean bite to eat!! Always satisfied! It's so good they have screwed my sandwich up twice(New guys) and I still didn't mind at all because it was that tasty! Old bald guy and Ruben are my favs

Great old fashioned deli. Terrific sandwiches and sides. Not crazy expensive. Gets real busy around lunch (that's how you know it's good.)

Had a meeting in Akron and someone suggested we try Den Stewarts. Started with some Blue Point oysters. They were fresh and served ice cold. Had the bone in rib eye. Excellent and perfectly cooked. After a couple of bottles of wine, I forgot what I had for dessert, but I'm sure it was great.

Why anyone wouldn't be satisfied with the food here is beyond me. Diamond Deli is the best lunch spot in downtown Akron. If you are visiting for a few days, do not leave without trying something from here. I can guarantee that will NOT regret your decision!

Some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Soups are also on point, with the daily specials giving you a favorite day to visit. Staff are incredibly friendly as well as being certified deli wizards.

Just plain frickin' awesome! I had expectations for good, and I got great! The staff was incredibly friendly, jovial, and offered their best advice for what a first time visitor might enjoy. I ended up with the "Chad" and couldn't have been happier.

I can't say it's the best pastrami or corned beef I've ever had because I'm not well-versed with the cured meats in the area. What I will say is that these sandwiches are ample, filled full of meats, and are surprisingly filling. Even more, the combination of pastrami, corned beef, Swiss cheese, and spicy mustard on rye bread was spot on! The way the flavors all came together reminds me of why I prefer the simple, local deli over the blandness of Jimmy John's or Subway.

Came here for lunch and almost came back again for dinner. So good!

Loved the family vibe, the owner was so friendly. The soda we wanted needed the syrup changed, he made sure to bring us it once it was changed out.

All of the Akron memorabilia was great to seeway to support the local community.

The sandwiches were just perfect. Stacked highI don't know how they are making any money! I could only eat half. The meat was tender, the cole slaw was creamy, and the mustard had a nice spice kick to it. I had the matzo ball soup and it was so flavorful and satisfying, especially since I had a cold.
