Literal brainwashing in the best way possible. Like actually washing your brain out of all the junk that you've built up for years and years. Thank you so much to this center.

The place is amazing! Learned a lot. Though they only served vegetarian food, was still pretty good!

High quality and thorough meditation technique to help focus our mind. We learned to self inspect and moderate our emotions. Very organized. Would love to do this again.

You can read much about the practice itself elsewhere, I'll focus here on the facilities for this specific center.
Dhamma Patapa really is in the middle of nowhere, which adds to the feeling of seclusion from society that the retreat encourages. All of the rooms and common areas are very clean. While everything here is quite simple, I never felt like my basic needs weren't being met. You'll have ACs in the rooms and in the meditation halls (and even the bathroom) to combat the warm Georgia weather (at least in the Summer). The food is very good, made from high quality vegetarian ingredients. In terms of accommodation, they recommend you bring your own bed sheets, alarm clock, etc but they are helpful in providing you with items you may have forgotten to bring.
    Great place overall.

Really changed my perspective of life. The one thing I'd like to say to people that intend to attend the first 10 day course is to really commit to it before going in. If you chose to bring the baggage from your outside life and let that dictate your presence during the course, the course may only be harder on you.
