Rooms are modern and comfortable. Very close to downtown. Stayed for the Detroit marathon and the staff were very accommodating to runners! A great stay!

Breakfast offers quite a bit of food. Front desk is very nice and offers to help with a lot like taxis and bus service. Room was really nice. Only downfall, the room was next to the elevator so we could hear it closing all night.

I've satyed here probably ten times over the past ten years. This hotel recently went through a total renovation and the quality has improved ten fold. It is well worth the affordable price now

Per the price that I paid for one room very unhappy with the outcome of my stay. After staying at this hotel I got pink eye and a very bad cause of it. When I called the hotel to let them know, the manger was very rude and stated I did not get the pink eye from their hotel because they clean their sheets and pillows very well. I never had pink eye before and it just so happens after staying there I did. I will never stay there again and do not recommend it

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Dirty cleaning cloth left on the floor made us suspicious about how clean everything was. The Jacuzzi tub didn't work properly, sprayed water straight up. Not much of a view but we didn't expect one. Continental breakfast was good enough for us. It was a mile and a half from Comerica. So it's walkable. I'm glad we walked during the day and not at night though. May not have felt safe.

The hotel smelled just like weed which shocked me because of their "strict" no smoking policy or apparently they'll keep the $50 deposit. In reality it's if you want to smoke just pay $50 and you're good smh. I came from out of town and stayed one night. I was informed the $50 would be kept if we didn't leave the room in the condition it was presented (ok, sounds about normal). I thoughtthat's fine. The next day I got up and left at check out time like I would normally do at a hotel especially if I only paid for one night. I noticed I never had my $50 refunded to me so I called and was told I was supposed to check out and let them inspect the room to see if I smoked!?! That's some stuff I've never freaking heard of. I was also told that is "standard" world wide lol. I feel like they didn't inform me so they could keep the money. I mean yes it's only $50 but imagine how many people they get like this. I'm more frustrated with the dishonesty and misinforming than the money any day. I would never come back to this closed in dirty floored weed smelling drug addict living trap they call a hotel

We chose this hotel because it was the only one with shuttle service. Being from out of town we didn't want to fight with parking, traffic, directions, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better shuttle service! Rich our driver was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable of the area. Best of all he was on time, he was there when he said he would be!
The hotel was good too. The staff was warm and friendly. Our room was recently renovated, it was clean with a good size bathroom. We will definitely be planning another trip here!response / report this review -

The hotel was decent, nothing over the top though. It was a little beyond walking distance from downtown, but the price was way better than the hotels downtown.
The room was clean, but felt a little antiquated. The lobby looks a little more modern than the rooms do. They also have bullet proof glass in the lobby, but I never felt in danger at the hotel.
The staff were friendly, even though we accidentally slept through check out time.
They honor military discount, and had a continental breakfast despite the cheap rate (many other hotels I've stayed in hear this price point have dropped breakfast).response / report this review
