The work they do is fine, however their complete lack of concern for wasting your time is incredible. Every appointment leaves you waiting for no less then an hour, then they take you back and make you wait another 45 minutes to an hour for the dentist to actually come in. My time is just as valuable as theirs. They should respect people’s time and adjust their schedules accordingly

The staff was very nice and professional. My hygienist was very efficient and did a wonderful job. I would like to Dentists in the office. One Dentist seeing a bunch of people isn’t enough and can cause a long wait time.

The staff was very nice and made me feel very comfortable my first time there. I was explained every procedure as well as my next appointment what would happen. The waiting area was very clean and safe as far as seating and hand sanitizer was where you could use it.

My second time here at the office and I absolutely LOVE the warm atmosphere. The ladies worked super hard to make me comfortable before my oral extractions. Especially Alecia, Tina, Julie and most of all Dr. Owens. I highly recommend this office, and this is coming from someone that swore off dentist offices ! I’m extremely pleased. Clean, and Time effecient. Thank you Ladies again !

I came in to get my wisdom tooth pulled. Dr. Owens literally pulled my tooth in less then two minutes. DA Chamita made me very comfortable. They did an awesome job. I was scared literally scared. Dr. Owens tell stories while he's doing his job. Make you forget what's going on. So between laughing with Chamita and hearing positive stories I forgot I was getting my tooth pulled. Good job. I didn't feel any pain. Not one bit.

I was a walk in for Dr. Uvoh I was taken care of by him and his two wonderful assistants Tawanna and Constance. This was by far one of the best dentist visits I've had in my life. The Dr. Was very nice he handle my mouth with care when he pulled my tooth. His assistants console me and held my hand threw the pain. And to top it off he song happy birthday to me it was a great experience and I would recommend him to others!!!

In quick need of a Saturday service and I am very well pleased with the dental services at this establishment. The front desk clerks were very helpful. The dental assistant Tawanna and Dr. Choueiry knew exactly what they were doing and did it in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this office for regular and emergency purposes you won’t be disappointed !!!

Recently went to Detroit Dental Specialists for the first time and was very happy with my experience here! I was seen by Dr. O'Shea who was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and prompt! He even filled my cavity during the same visit so that I wouldn't have to make a second trip to the office. His staff was also very kind and professional, especially Ian, Mercedes, and Donna! Would highly recommend this dental practice!

The first few times I came (3 times) I didn't like it because the doctor was not nice nor a few of the nurses. Oh but now.. The doctor now is funny,nice and actually has a legit concern for the patients. He made my visit comfortable and pleasant and the nurses were just as nice and gentle with my teeth. I will have no problem in coming back now. Thank you!

I love this dentist office! The staff are really helpful & they treat u like family. Today I got a my wisdom tooth pulled & Dr. Uvoh & his assistant Tawanna were great I was scared at first but they reassured me that everything would be fine. By far the best dentist office in the Detroit Metro area. Detroit Dental Specialist on Livernois 😍😘

Went to get a wisdom tooth pulled. Long waits, but worth the processional yet not at all intimidating environment. Was strange the everything was so open in the back but was fully comfortable. Mrs. Bates i believe was the name of the young dentist that pulled my tooth and she was great.

Horrible service. Appointment at 11:30 and didn't get called back until after 12 and still have to wait. Was told I didn't have cavities but gave me a filling. Didn't even fill it all the way in. Bite guards didn't fit even though they were molded for my mouth. They rush through your cleaning. The only time I had a great experience is when I got my wisdom teeth pulled. Seems like that's the only time they treat you right is when they're about to bill the mess out of your insurance for pulling your teeth. For a regular dental plan they are horrible and the staff is unprofessional. They stand around and talk about eachothet all day.

Very surprised that the review scale was very low. On my end, I still would recommend them because of my experience. The wait was only 40 minutes but that was much better than my 2 hour+ long waits at gentle dental. The dentist and his assistant was nice and helped with all my concerns.

Worst dentist ever tried to get me to pay for work I didn't need which is a common complaint with this place I wouldn't take my dog here poor service and they are scam artist you better get a second opinion

I just recently went here and I will never go back. First impressions are everything. I went for a routine x ray and cleaning and they were prompt about getting me in the back from my appointment but what was very inconsiderate and unprofessional is having a client in the back for almost two hours, with no one checking on them in between or providing them the service that they were supposed to receive. But when someone finally do come to the back, they inform me that the Hygienist is gone for the day and since they are short of staff you can not be seen and then try to make you pay when no services was rendered ! Then had a very rude discharge receptionist who only instigated the situation instead of trying to come up with solution.

So I call an make a appointment to see the oral surgeon Explaining to them I have been to a dentist and know I need to see a oral surgeon I come in to my appointment was not greated or welcomed when called to the back to emplyoees are in a debate because she keep taken smoke breaks. So I asked was the oral sergeant there and was told he was on call 🙄🙄 why is he not here okay so I was there all of 3 hrs got my teeth cleaned while I waited on the dentist who I never meet then in walks the lady with a referral to some other local oral surgeon but they won't yu to pay for being seen I'm so up set because I'm still in pain when leaving I called all three numbers they gave me and 2 I have to leave a voice mail and wait up to five day for a respond and the other one made me a appointment for 4 months from today 😂😂😂 great

I had a great experience. I was able to have an appointment scheduled within less than a week. The staff was friendly and professional. They even seem to use up to date technology for their diagnostic care. I was really impressed with the hygienist who to great care of me. She was quite gentle, thorough, and made sure that I was comfortable and listened to my concerns. The wait time was no long at all to be called back and be seen. I definitely going back.
