I am currently a client here and this place has been nothing short of amazing in the process of recovery. I was a hardcore drug addict and I now have almost 5 months clean thanks to the wonderful people at Design. They really take the recovery process seriously and will hold you accountable, while also retaining the skill to care for whatever needs you may have. Couldn’t recommend this place more, 11/10.
Design for Recovery provided the structure and support I needed to begin my new life in sobriety. I'm grateful for all the staff and owners for creating a positive environment such at Design for Recovery. Currently I have 7 months of sobriety, two jobs and I'm active member in the AA community.
I really loved this sober living house and the community that followed along with it, if you are someone that is in need of a sober living so, you can attend groups or even start off your sober lifestyle this is the place to go. This house and the community that follows with it has so many resources that they offer and are always willing to attend meetings if you are willing and plus, they can help you get your life back on the right track, the housing staff is wonderful and are always helpful and understanding and willing to help you in any situation and possible way they can, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone that needs help with their journey.
Was reluctant to come to a sober living at first but am happy I chose this one. The house managers and clients made me feel welcomed and comfortable to open up to others. I've been here for about 5 months now and have been able to get my life back together and build a community around sobriety. Very thankful for both house managers Josh and Matt as they hold me accountable and make sure I am always taking steps in the right direction. They genuinely care about the clients well being and I've seen them go over the top to help people.
This place is very depressing and they give you no freedom. I have moved houses and im so much more happier. They even take clients phones witch I don’t believe is even legal. The day I was leaving they were trying convince me to stay. They do not like to see people succeed and they have this whole system for the clients. They make you earn “Gold Status” in order to be able to leave and when you reach this gold status they want you to take the other clients everywhere with you. They also get mad at you for being out of the house and doing fun activities. I would not recommend this house if you want to have a good and happy experience with sober living.
