Ricardo “Biggie” in sales worked with me to make sure I got the best deal.. in the end I was happy with my new R3 and the service I received was impeccable! Will definitely be coming back for future for more bikes..
I just want to start off and say I’m fairly new to going to Del Amo Motorsports. I have been consistently going back for everything that I need for my motorcycles because of their customer service in the parts department. There’s only one person that I will always go to and that is Lina. She’s the sweetest person and is always looking out for her customer. She goes out of her way to constantly inform me exactly when it is my parts should be in. I just wanted to say thank you for your customer service and keep doing what you’re doing.
About a month ago I sold my old bike and the day after I went to Del Amo Redondo with $6000.00 in my pocket fulling intending to purchase a new one. And I probably would have seeing as how they had the bike I was looking for. However, after being in there for at least half an hour I walked out because not one of the sales staff even said hello, much less asked if I needed help. I guess I could understand if they were busy but this was a weekday and I was pretty much the only customer in the bike sales department. It's all good though. I purchased a bike the next day that was in better shape with less miles than the one I was hoping to buy the day before.
I really wasn't going to write a review of that experience but after what happened today, I felt like it was time. They had a big sale the day before (12/2/17) and unfortunately I had to work and missed it. Went up today for a pair of gloves I've been wanting and figured it couldn't hurt to ask if they could cut me a break and maybe discount them just a little. The guy I asked was busy eating at the counter. And even after I apologized for interrupting his lunch, which I don't think I should have had to do, with a complete and total attitude said "no, no way". Then he went back to stuffing his face and didn't even look me in the eye. Now I can handle being told no but that kind of attitude is absolutely uncalled for.
I think it's needless to say, but I'll never spend another penny of my money with Del Amo.
I love this place as it provides wide variety of motorcycles. Staff is very friendly and i bought two motorcycles for my husband within five years.
They are open for negotiations and have the patience to sit through the discussions. Customer comes first for them. I can always see a big smile on my husband when we come here to Shop.
I've both purchased a motorcycle and had significant service completed at Del Amo. The dealership is quite large and as such has a good selection of bikes, gear and inventoried parts. It's easy to order items that are not in stock.
I've been satisfied by the service quality but the prices are high. The reps offer very little info unless explicitly asked.
I purchased a barely-used 2016 Yamaha with 100 miles. Del Amo either didn't discover in its "exhaustive" inspection, or didn't disclose that the bike had been laid down in those 100 miles and I had to return the day after purchase to get the handlebars straightened. I didn't notice when buying the bike because they don't allow test rides. One of the sales reps told me he would look into the bike's past, but despite a reminder, I have never been contacted.
Went in to check out a bike, sales rep was nice and helpful. I forgot how large the fees they charge on top of their website's "sale price" are though and decided to pass. That is what it is, and I would have been okay with the experience. However, the other day I get a credit card in the mail from Yamaha. When I was there, the sales rep had told me to sign a form to see if I was eligible to be financed. I didn't know I was signing up for a credit card I now have to cancel, and even worse it has like a 16% APR, who would want to finance a bike at that rate? I guess I should have read the form closer, but I took the rep at his word that it was just to see if I qualified for their financing. Ridiculous. Beware.
Parts counter usually had parts on hand and will order stuff if you need it. Lots of hype in the other parts of the store but if you Just need to get parts this is a good place to go.
Good overall experience here and they price matched online price for a new helmet and goggles. Selection is decent. Plenty of staff to help. Good new vehicle inventory as well. Only gripe was they didn't have my size boots in stock, and that was one of the main reason I went was to try on new boots
this place is amazing. an associate here named Arthur Phillips helped me with many issues I had not only with a motorcycle but with a vespa scooter as well. he saved me a little of money too. I would have to say honestly this is the most knowledgeable employees I've ever met at a motorcycle shop. great shopping here too.
I have bought 13 motorcycles in my life and the experience I had here was by far the best! The staff are down to earth and make the process fun. David N., Rosario and Emmanuel were the three who sold me and my best friend our latest toys. I hate "salesy" types. These three were quite the opposite of that. I'm super satisfied with the knowledge they had and would definitely will go back for my next bike.
I have only ever bought parts and gear here. They have a decent selection of gear without a horrendous mark up. You may still be able to find better prices online, but I like to be able to try things on before I buy. I've never had an issue with the parts department. They are always upfront about how long a part I ordered will take and call when it comes in. Three stars because I can't make it back to the gear or parts department without being harassed by three or four pushy sales people. And for good sakes don't pause to look at a bike on the showroom floor. They will swarm you like mosquitoes.
Great Service, they have all the protective Gear for my kids.. Love the customer service there, you can try on and fit correctly. I used to buy online but I noticed Del Amo is cheaper or same but I can try all the product on, If they don't have the color I want they will ship to my house awesome store.
I was looking to buy a new dirt bike and came to Del Amo. I was really interested in the YZ450FX and they had it in stock. A sales guy named Damien came up to me asking if I needed any help, he was very friendly and told me all about the bike. He was very honest and made sure it was the right bike for me. I ended up buying the bike and am very happy with the price I got, they even helped me load it into my truck!
Where do I start? This place advertises amazing prices but when you get there, you learn about the outrageous dealer fees, and then you get the hard core hard sales pressure. You are a pay check to them, that's all.
I guess they have to pay for all the dazzling decor. Actually, YOU have to pay for all the dazzling decor.
These people will take care of you. I've only been riding a short time, but they already feel like they are family. It's a weird thing, but they have earned my loyalty. Don't take my word for it, just drop in and walk around. You will see what I mean.
