I will never stay in another Days Inn because of this hotel and the Days Inn policy. I stayed here for a gymnastics competition with my daughter last weekend under a reserved room block. When I cancelled the nights that I didn't need, they changed the price of my night because they don't guarantee the rate. I told them that I did not know this when I booked, and the response was that they didn't have to tell me of this policy. I was deceived and they totally lied to me! To top it off, the room was disgusting. The bed had bed bug poop, there was hair in the bathroom and the sink and bathtub were clogged. So glad we only had to stay one night. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I booked this hotel prepaid for two nights. My children and I arrived at 10pm. We got into our room and it wasn’t impressive to say the least. We unpacked and went to the bathroom to brush our teeth and whatnot before bed. I was washing my face when I noticed sand or something was getting into my eyes. I then looked at the water that wasn’t driaining down this sink and it was filled with sediment and tinted brown. We were immediately offered a different room. The from desk woman was very kind and courteous. We then moved to a new room where, like the first one, it wasn’t clean, there were layers of dust on the appliances, beds were rock hard and small, the shower screamed the entire time someone was in it, and one of the coffee packets was open and left for use again by another guest. All of this plus the smell of stale smoke and someone else’s perfume filled the room. I had high hopes for this hotel since it had such good ratings but this hotel was not worth any money spent. Also, the pool didn’t open until 10am which was disappointing for the kids. In the end, we stayed the first night and checked out before the second night despite it being prepaid.

We stayed here to be close to the hospital for my daughter's surgery. The location was great, as it was only a six minutes drive to the hospital and would be a convenient location for various other destinations. The employees at the service desk were kind and helpful and checking in and out was quick. There were plenty of options for breakfast in the morning and the room we stayed in was very nice for the price, with extra pillows and blankets in the room along with a fridge and microwave.

The hotel itself was pretty good. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was fine, clean and functional. Rates were pretty good too. We had to change rooms after the first night though, because the exterior door and room doors slam whenever they close, and a couple guests were arguing in the hallway. The rooms are not soundproof at all. Recommend a room away from the entrances and elevator if you want a good night's sleep.

Wow, we got an unbelievably great deal through expedia combining flight & room with this hotel. Yet it did not lack service, cleanliness & politeness. It was very good. The lobby always had iced lemon water. The continental breakfast had biscuits & gravy, make your own waffles, bananas, apples, yougurt, & toast mini muffins ect. It stayed open until 10:00am. The checkout was noon!! Perfect for late risers!

Nice place and good location with a Mexican restaurant next door that is very good. The only problem with this place is they use those very thick bulbous type pillows. They are at least 6 inches thick. When you sleep on them your neck is wrenched up whether you're laying on your back or on your side. Poor planning in terms of ergonomics and getting good sleep. Other than that a nice place

Clean, nice, and reasonably priced. The only issue I had was the pool not opening until 10 a.m.! I like to take a nice swim in the morning and by 10 we are on the road. So I wasn't able to use the pool like I had originally planned.

Rooms clean. Air works. Beds are comfy for a hotel. Breakfast was good. Stayed twice at this location. (1) night and a 4 night stay. No complaints either time

I'm fairly sure not all the rooms are this way but we had a room with two beds and the beds were so small that we had to sleep one per bed we're still married we usually sleep together so that was kind of different. The lady at the front desk was exceptional she answered all of our questions had recommendations for food was very knowledgeable of the area and had a fantastic attitude. The lady that checked us out this morning was also had a fantastic attitude and was very helpful the staff was great.

After informing the front desk that our beds had not been changed she gave us new sheets and when we unfolded them to put on the bed a bed bug fell out. The security door to the pool was broken and a ceiling tile starting to fall down.

A little confusion initally with what rooms where clean and ready and which weren't but once we where in a room it was a nice quite clean room with a comfortable bed.

Clean room and friendly staff at a great price. We loved using the indoor pool! The breakfast was underwhelming and I (and the earth) would appreciate them using non- styrofoam plates but, overall, by far one of the best deals we got in Cedar Rapids.
