I choose this hotel because of how remarkably cheap it was compared to others in the Savannah area at 80 bucks (tax included) it really surprised me. It’s staff were nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and relatively modern, the location was perfected as it was only a few miles from downtown and nothing was around it (super chill). Additionally there was a little bar/restaurant on site and it too was pretty spectacular. I’ve stayed at hotels actually deserving of a 1-3 star rating and this one wasn’t one of those. Unless you want to pay triple the price for another hotel then this one was a five star in my eyes.

If I could put a negative in there I would. It was a horrible nightmare. When I first entered the room, I smelled something weird, and I thought, maybe the smell would disappear over time. Later that night I found a Cockroach rolling about. Like "this is my Territory," I killed the first one, then I went to the bed, and something told me to check for bedbugs, and was that they were there. Come later on, I was sitting on the couch, to watch t.v and out comes a couple more cockroaches, and I'm like "oh hell na." Need less to say, by the next day I found probably like 10 of them, and on top of all that, the smell was still there the entire time. On top of that, I found a couple in the fridge. Needless to say, I will never be staying there ever again.

Beware of Dave the owner of this dump. He's a liar and thief who took advantage of Florida evacuees during Hurricane Irma.

We originally booked 4 nights (3 rooms for 2 nights and then 2 rooms for 2 nights). We stayed one night at this location before Savannah started issued evacuations.

To start, the rooms are disgusting. Filthy carpets, tub and bathroom. Black mold along the ceiling and in the shower. We didn't even sleep under the covers as the place was so gross.

Although the filth was bad enough, things have only gotten worse from there. When we checked out after one night, my father called the front desk and spoke to Dave cancelling our remaining reservation for the additional nights. He even gave Dave all 3 confirmation numbers. But apparently Dave didn't do that and several days later I incurred 2 charges on my credit card from the property.

I called the property and spoke to Dave again explaining the whole situation. Of course Dave doesn't recall anyone calling him to cancel the remaining reservation. He then tells me the 2 charges are no show penalties and that I should call the corporate office to see if there's a solution because he's not going to refund my money. After he called me a liar, I hung up on him and called corporate. After a run around with them, they agreed to refund me only 1 of the no show charges. Corporate "customer care" stated that there is no way for them to verify we called and cancelled the remaining nights because we didn't get a cancellation number or cancellation email. So they agreed to refund only 1 charge because the property shouldn't have charged me twice for no show under 1 reservation.

Not only did Dave conveniently deny the conversation he had with my father, he also charged me twice for no show.

If you are unfortunate enough to "have" to stay there like we did, beware of giving this place or any Days Inn or Wyndham property your credit card info. In a dispute, they'll side with the scam artist, smelly manager/owner of their property. It really is disgusting behavior, especially when we were evacuating from a natural disaster. "Customer care", what a joke.

Moldy smelling, damp smell and a damp feeling in sheets but the best thing about the entire night is I had to sleep in the back seat of the rental truck, why? Because I was being ate up by bedbugs as well as my daughter. Not good for business. Room 133

It's was a great place to stay. Nice rooms and so quite. Clean rooms and comfortable beds! There is a baby alligator that lives on site. So that's really cool to see that. We will stay here again.

Check in was super easy, room large, even dated but well maintained. House keeping was excellent and staff friendly. Close to the airport and quiet. We like our stay, it served the purpose. if you want a reasonably priced short stay, then this is for you. I will surely return.

The towels are thin. The bed was hard. The refrigerator had ice build up and did not keep things frozen.

The hotel room was dirty from the bathroom toilet to the walls. We found cigarette ashes under a chair on the floor, someone's body wash, and a pair of socks. The shower hardly worked and the sink was slow to drain.

    Really needs some TLC.

    Would not stay here again.

Rooms could of been a little cleaner and would of been nice to have some form of security. Some random stranger knocking on the door around 10pm wanting to "ask a question" will have me not going back.
