The location is great it was a little deceiving reading and looking at photo to make place look bigger and I feel over price to just have a king bed and small jacuzzi thought it was going to be a nicer experience. Little on the dirty side and there was food left in the refrigerator when we arrive

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Where do I even begin to explain the horrendous experience I had?? Let's start with check in day. I should have known something wasn't right when I booked this hotel expecting it to be a Days Inn Hotel and it was actually something called Mills Lodge or something like that. The pictures on the website were outdated so it was WAYYYYY more out of shape than to be expected. They were in the middle of renovating this hotel so there were nails, tools, and supplies laying everywhere. The outside was a complete mess! Not to mention their website and third party booking talks about their outdoor pool.. but forgot to mention that it is out of service. After a long day of hiking in the Smokies, it would have been nice to relax by the pool I thought I was going to be able to enjoy when making the purchase of my room. We finally get checked in and we found our room. Inside there was no phone, our fridge hardly worked, we didn't have any towels, and the overall cleansliness was a total let down. The house keeper even followed my boyfriend and I to our room to inform us that it wasn't her who cleaned the room but she was going over the rooms because the other person didn't do it right. She admitted that the people here suck and don't do a very good job. THEIR OWN EMPLOYEE TELLING GUESTS THIS INFORMATION. That alone was a huge turn off. We didn't even feel comfortable laying under the blankets. We luckily had our own throw blankets in the car from our nine hour drive. So that was Friday.. Saturday my love and I spent an amazing day in the Smokies. We were here from 10am-9:30pm. As expected we were gonna be tired. We wanted to come back to the room and shower and relax. Little did we expect to hear people doing construction from 9:30-1:30am. We needed to check out by 6am and prepare for our drive back home and could not sleep due to the chainsaw and hammers and loud banging that was going on. As I stated above, we did not have a phone in our room so I used my personal phone. I called the front desk and spoke with a guy that seemed as clueless as it can get. The first time I called was 12am. He said he was sorry and would go out there and look into it. Now it's 1am and I'm hearing the chainsaw. I call again and he said he would now call the manager and take care of it. I told him I could not possibly be the only one calling about this issue and he laughed and said, "actually you are the only one calling." They had a parking lot full of cars so I doubt I was the only one that complained about it. At 1:30am it was still happening so my boyfriend went to the front desk and spoke with the guy in person. In actuality he had not even moved from his seat. He never went and talked to the people. What motivated him was my boyfriend telling him that he works here and is coming to him with a complaint and if he doesn't take care of it he would do it himself. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF THE FIRST TIME I CALLED!! After that, it finally stopped and we were able to go to sleep but the construction started back up again at 7am Sunday morning. The "hot" breakfast consisted of things I had to warm up myself in a microwave and was all trash. This place is a joke. The people here are a joke. Horrible. I have traveled and have stayed in several hotels and have never EVER experienced such a thing. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!

I was here in Pigeon Forge, TN staying for two nights. Overall, I had a terrible experience. Not a bad experience, a terrible experience. The operative word being terrible. The website says they have an outdoor swimming pool. They do have an outdoor swimming pool; that is being renovated and has no water in it! So while in Tennessee, on a 75 or 80 degree day I couldn't go swimming because the swimming pool is not up and running. How embarrassing to walk down the road to see some random, low budget motel not only having a working pool, but a water slide as well. There was no telephone in the room. Let me repeat that- there was an alarm clock that was unplugged on the night stand and there was NO PHONE IN THE ROOM. For the finale; on my last night, as I'm preparing for a 6 am drive back to Illinois (about a 9 hour drive) I hear what sounds like an electric drill of some sort at 1 am in the morning. You can't make this stuff up! Literally trying to go to sleep for the night, after a long day in the smokies. And I can't because they are working on the renovation at 1 am. What are they thinking? Was there no better time to be fixing a washer unit and doing whatever else you were doing that late? Absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn't come back here if they called me and offered a free stay. I would literally turn down the offer entirely.

Unfortunately, my husband and I had our first bad hotel experience here. We had to wait over an hour after check-in time to even get a key, then once we got in the room, it looked NOTHING like the premium room we paid extra to book. In the website description, it advertised a mountain view - our room didn't even have a window. It was unfortunately dirty as well. One good thing I can say is that the receptionists were kind and understanding when I went to cancel my stay. I appreciated that. Just posting this review to inform anyone going by the web's advertisements - it's not what it says or appears.

Don't be fooled. The name change to Lodge at Mill Creek sounds nice but this place is a true dump. Our first non smoking room had been smoked in for a long time, the bath room was not clean, the molding was coming off the walls. They accommodated us with a new room. This room had the bed made and we pulled back the covers to see stained used sheets. Do NOT waste your money staying at this dump.

Only giving 1 star because it gives no other option. We've never been the type of people to be negative about a business or leave bad reviews, but this is THE WORST hotel experience we've ever had. First room we had, outlets had duct tape holding them into the walls, floor hadn't been swept or vacuumed, bathroom door was coming apart, no wash cloths and shower didn't work at all. Finally got a second room, wasn't AS bad..but still bad. One lady from the office came running in the door(after they had already gave us the keys to the room and I was already in there checking everything out) to make sure it was clean because they only have one housekeeper. They came to check AFTER they had already given us the keys to the room. Still duct tape holding the outlets into the wall. Comforter had cigarette burns all in it, our keys stopped working after one use because they didn't program them right, so we had to go get more keys. Needless to say, it DEFINITELY WAS NOT worth $160 for 2 nights. I'd splurge and spend an extra $100 for somewhere that is guaranteed to be clean, rather than stay in this junk place. We will NEVER stay here again.
