First off we asked for a non smoking room by the pool we were put in a room that reeked of smoke one the second floor as far from the pool as possible. The tub had a ring of grim on it the air/heat blew air sometimes an beat soemtimes which it was 30 degrees and we had children with us so heat ALL the time would have been nice. Breakfast was until 10 i women came out both days at exactly ten did not say hello ask us about our stay ask us if we’d like refills or more to eat just starting packing up an throwing stuff away an pushing us out. The pool was ok not super warm but warm enough for our small children we didn’t get in hot tub it looked like it could use a face lift along with the pool but they didn’t seem dirty they did the job for us anyways. Our room keys needed changed three times i refused to work an on top of it they wanted a fifty dollar deposit what?!?!?!? Tons of stink bugs After getting home I’m reading other reviews about bed bugs i didn’t pay attention I’m hoping to god we didn’t bring some home with us yuck!

This place was very clean and i liked the pool but you had to pay extra for a fridge. Also none of the rooms had microwaves and you have to use the one in the lobby. Lastly the beds were very uncomfortable.

    Infested!! Infested!!! Infested!!!!
This hotel is run by morons who only care about tourist dollars. My family stayed at this horrible hotel last week and were covered with bed bugs.
Dirty sheets and when my wife told the ignorant non English speaking lady behind the desk about the bed bugs she threatened to call the police.

Some of you people crack me up with your reviews. It's a cheaply priced place to stay.

Rooms were clean. Breakfast was more than adequate. Usually a motel breakfast is continental.
    No issues with the staff.
What do some of you people expect for the price. Room service? Ha ha , good one and the pool was clean. Thanks for a nice stay.

We chose this place as a last minute stay for the Colossalcon event. The room was well made and kept, with plenty of space. It's only a 5 minute drive to the convention, with quick access to the turnpike to boot. The staff was friendly, courteous, and considerate of our needs, and the free breakfast with pool and subsequent attached hot tub aided us when we needed to relax after a long day at the con. Totally worth it.

Lower priced motel. Extremely clean in the public areas and the room. Nice breakfast included. Oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, bread, and cereals. Downside active rail line very near and trains make themselves heard. Second smoking and no smoking rooms are intermingled so the smell of cigarette smoke is evident in the hallways. Still think this motel is a good value.

I wish I would've read the reviews before booking. DON'T stay here, you can definitely find something better! I really only needed a place to crash since I drove 12 hours from Minnesota the day I checked in, and then spent the entire next day at Cedar Point. Even for just "a place to crash" at the end of a long day, this hotel was pretty bad. I can only think of one place I've stayed that was worse than this one (A Motel 6 somewhere in Tennessee) Anyway, I'm a non-smoker, so I booked a non-smoking room. When I walked into my room, I immediately knew that it had been smoked in recently. The air conditioner didn't work. When I returned from Cedar Point around 1am the next night, my room key didn't work, so I had to go get a replacement. The lady working at the desk was very nice and immediately activated a new key, so at least I had that going for me. The walls and ceilings are paper thin. I could hear the TV next door, and whoever had the room above me kept walking around in the middle of the night, which isn't the hotel's fault, but was still irritating. I was completely exhausted and just wanted a good night's sleep before I had to get up and head back to Minnesota. All in all a bad experience, I will not be staying here in the future. The only reason they're getting two stars from me instead of one is because both staff members I dealt with during my stay were very professional and pleasant. The rest of my family stayed at the Country Inn and Suites, and I wish now that I would've stayed there too. I guess that's what I get for being a cheapskate. Only $60 per night, but so not worth it.
