Easy to book. The day of arrival our daughter has a heart issue which lead us to a nearby hospital in nc. We were admitted
When I called to inform the hotel we could not make it they wished us to get better and did not penalize us for being unable to keep our reservations
    That was very generous

The price is good, the room is reasonably clean. It's old and needs to be updated. The food at the breakfast was all completely outdated. All the yogurt was old and past its date, The Waffle machine made rancid waffles it was disgusting.

The beds are very comfy. WiFi is almost non existent. The room was very outdated
    The caretakers are rude.
I will find a better accommodation next time I visit the smoky mountains

ROACHES!!! We saw ROACHES on the night stand and table when we turned the lights on. Walked in the bathroom and 3 running around on the wall. A few small dead bugs around the sink. A stain on the bed cover ( which was minor compared to the roaches). So after driving 6 hours, we had to find another motel. The motel must be proud of their pet ROACHES though, they do not want to give us a refund. Seriously!! People can't stay in your motel because of ROACHES and you still want to charge them for the room? Let's just say, I DO NOT recommend this place. Unless your a fan of roaches.

Big roomy rooms. Some of the staff was friendly. They had a lot of Lady bugs and some other kind of bug on the Windows and doors. For the price and one night you couldn't beat it. It had some fast food restaurant and gas station close.

I had high hopes seeing that they charged almost $200 but with the list of problems and things not working I'd say this room is worth every bit of $50 where I am from. A slum is what we would call it... The remote doesn't work, the safe didn't work and had electrical tape over the mismatched batteries, the headboard has head grease stains all over it(proof that they don't clean thoroughly),the pull out sofa(for my 2 children) didn't have any sheets, nor were there any extras in the room, and when we went to ask for some the lady at the front desk acted as if it were such an issue to hand the unfolded sheets blanket and one pillow for my 2 kids... Between the highway noise and the redneck party going on downstairs I don't plan on getting much sleep... I will NEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVEEEEERRRRR stay here again! My standards are way too high! Go across the street! Same price, way better!!!

This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever visited, found hair everywhere, carets were filthy, mold by the sink, beds appeared to have already been slept in (took the covers off and put our own blankets on the bed so I knew my grandchildren we're sleeping on something clean), horrible smell in the room and then at 5:00 a.m.someone drilling something into the walls (camera?). I would sleep in my vehicle before I would ever stay here again. But on the positive side the office staff was very nice and portrayed true southern hospitality.

WAY too much money for basic rooms and basic amenities. But, It was clean and front desk lady was very sweet. Breakfast has waffles and cereals. If you pay more than $70 a night, you must be desperate like me!

The big plus about this place is that they take dogs. But after staying here twice, I've found the room quality to be pretty low. My last room had a cracked bathtub so any time we attempted to shower the tub leaked into the room. There is a complimentary breakfast, it's typical continental fare, cereal, coffee, juices and a waffle maker.

Had to leave a star in order to leave a review.
I don't like leaving bad reviews. In fact I normally try to just ignore most of these opportunities to give reviews if my experience was not that great. Will leave my opinion when my experience was just wrong on so many levels!
We stayed there for 2 nights. Our first day and night there was good. No complaints! Our second day and night was good as well.
Waking up to get ready for Check Out though was entirely another story! Started with My (Very) Cold Shower! Because evidently their Hot Water Tank was Not working! My Daughter called the Front Desk immediately (1st call was approximately 8:50) letting them know Our Room had No Hot Water! We had planned on being Checked Out no later than 10:00 (Check Out is 11:00) because we had plans before heading home (307 miles). I Showered at 8:30. On the Third Call she was told that the Plumber was supposed to have been there within 30 minutes of her First Call. This was all within 1 hour! Was also told that the entire place had No Hot Water! The Desk Attendant told us we'd be given a 'Late Check Out'.
The Workers came to our room There times to see if we had left or was going to soon (With their Cleaning Carts). They were told each time why we had Not left yet. Their first two times was actually before Check Out time! We Not Only had to take Cold Showers but was rushed as well! By their Cleaning Crew!
My Daughter called Two More Times to see if hopefully The Plumber had arrived or at least called. On her Last Call she actually had to remind the Desk Attendant that 'she (Desk Attendant) had given us a Late Check Out' because evidently she didn't understand why we were still there! Asked if we were staying Another Night!
By then we were running way behind our planned schedule so my Daughter and her Friend gave up and just took Cold Showers as well~~at 11:40 & 12:00! My Daughter bathed my 5 year old Granddaughter off. We were Not taking a chance of her getting sick! I don't see Any 5 year old wanting to take a Cold Bath or Shower!
Yes, I realize Some Countries are grateful for any Water...We Are in The United States of America! We Surely Do Not Pay for Cold Showers! We finally Checked Out around 1:30. That was 3 1/2 Hours Past what we had planned! Plus by that time we were All Very Hungry! Thank God we had some 'Left Overs' in the Refrigerator to snack on!
I don't believe we even got an apology. I know we were in No Way Reimbursed for Our Inconveniences Due to Them and of course 'the Plumber they called'!
Yes, I realize things happen but I also know there's Multiple Choices When things happen in order to Fix Them!
Some people may enjoy a cool shower. I can't imagine anyone enjoying Cold Showers. I Know We Didn't!!!
I can say with certainty I do Not Ever plan on staying Here Again! Nor will I be recommending them to Anyone! Honestly if I'm ever asked about Places to stay 'This Place' will be 'Definitely Not Somewhere to Stay'!

We didn't realise when we took this "king" room, we were placed, ear shot from the main hwy.
Beds saw another post another rating : lumpy, bumpy, hard as a rock. They weren't kidding. Won't do that again, the location, or the "Days Inn". Another couple miles we may have found a nice quiet place, with a decent bed, traveling and worn out, taking whatever is convenient.... well ....
Got what we paid for !

Room floors were pretty dirty. They need more then just a vaccuum. Dressers was small. Staff was very nice & easy going though. We only stayed 1 night.

The room we got first had a busted toilet and a bunch of syringes in our room. However the first time we visited it was great and super clean. But this visit was absolutely horrible and I will not be visiting again.

Overall a good experience. Had some issues with the initial room, and they moved us easily. Breakfast was good as well. Overall, a good place to stay the night.

Stayed there in Kodak about 3 weeks ago. Room was nice with Ok furniture. Door locks are 1970's which rattle and loose. All need replacement for people to have security. Food was fine. Need new
locks. They are old junk. BF
