Should be Shut Down!!! Disgrace to such a pretty town..Horrible place horrible service!!!! Rude and nasty rooms Bed Bugs. I have pictures to prove it. No one has contacted us back after complaints. Had to call police on owners son and owners wife due to them screaming and pointing their finger in my mothers face because we were showing them the nastiness of their so called hotel
Bed bugs!!!!! In the suite above the offices. We left immediately and informed the staff They didn't act surprised, and didn't even offer an apology. They did however refund our money for the night.
Good stay. Would like to see eggs or sausage on breafast bar. No protein except yogurt. Room clean. Hair dryer not attached to wall or plugged in.
The staff were very friendly yet efficient getting is checked into our room. The room was fairly clean and it met our needs. It wasn't a fancy room, but was comparable to the price we paid. We would stay there again.
Fine for a basic stop overnight. Needs to be renovated soon, but was clean.
Bed is hard bedding old. There were pubic hairs in the tub. No decor in room. Wifi is poor. For price I have stayed in better for less. There was a wet dirty rag hanging on shower rod.
Room was clean when we entered it. The staff has been very polite. It's an older hotel and it shows but again, it's clean. Also it's in a great location. Walmart, Walgreens, Lowes and multiple restaurants within blocks. If another hurricane causes me to pack my family up and head out of town I would definitely make the 12 hour trip to stay here again. Plus Ft Payne is a nice little town.
Nice Days inn to stay at. I was shocked when I went into the room and there was a microwave and refrigerater, the best part, it all worked. They also had a continental breakfast.
My family and I decided to visit family so we stayed here for 3 nights. The room wasn't too bad until we got to the bathroom. The bathroom was dirty and the toilet had hair and dirt still on it. The worst problem was as soon as you used the bathroom the toilet would stop up no matter what. I had to go use their plunger everyday while we were there. I would have switched hotels but they already had my card on file and I knew they would mess it up if I tried to leave early and switch hotels. When I told them of the issues they didn't care what so ever. They just wanted the money for our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a nice comfortable clean place to stay. We come to Fort Payne a couple times a year and now this place will not receive our business again.
If I could post no stars I would. The rooms are decent, the breakfast is okay. That's about as good as it gets from here. The staff is unorganized and rude. There was a mixup with my payment for the room, I booked through Expedia. Instead of being treated like a human being in trying to sort the matter out. I was talked down to insulted and actually at one point was screamed at by the GM. She was uncivilized and unprofessional as it gets. Despite the lack of hospitality and maturity of the GM I maintained a adult like approach to the situation, cut my losses and switched hotels. Nobody can change a nasty person, but a nasty person can be the reason someone changes. Or in this case changes hotels.
This hotel is a bunch of Indian thieves and I myself am from India. They fraudulently charge customers who check in and leave within 15 minutes of arriving saying they would refund me but never did!
We were very disappointed in our stay at this hotel and would have left, had it not been so late and had we not been exhausted. Our room was not only filthy, but it smelled awful! This was a room that smelled like urine and smoke, especially when the AC was turned on; even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, (our bedding had cigarette burns). If this is any indication of these hotels, we will continue looking for another hotel before we will stay at a Days Inn again.
Nice clean room. Good air conditioning. Great price. Would recommend
