For the price the heated pool was a great place to relax on the cold nights. The free breakfast was awesome not your average continental breakfast. Hot tub in the room was great. Staff was extremely nice and helpful.
Fancy room with lots of room
Their was a large TV along with two beds with a nice sight beside it. It had a lamp post and a desk for reading or anything you would need to do. Their were two couches with a side table and a foot rest along with a mini fridge and a microwave their was a bathroom with a shower. Their were kitchen cabinets filled with complimentary snacks.
Nice location friendly fantastic people working there. Would highly encourage management as well as staff to encourage guests to recycle cans and things as I do. I found out that a few of the housekeepers recycle the cans so that's less than the landfill. The hotel itself needs some work but overall is a nice place to stay. Have not tried to pull yet but looking forward.
TLDR: This place is terrible, DO NOT STAY HERE!
Where to beginguess at the start. Got a room, waited for the very slow elevator to the 3rd floor, got to the floor and walked out into the non air conditioned, very humid hall. Walked to the room. Inserted card key andcard didn't work. Waited for the other person who was with me to bring their key, which worked. Got into the room and over half the lights would not turn on, a.c. didn't work, one wet towel hanging up in the bathroom as if someone just used it while another was sitting on the toilet in a heap
Went back to the front desk and asked for a different room, and they obliged and gave us a different room.
Second room, coat rack was hanging off the wall like it was about to fall off it with any weight, many of the outlets did not work, bathroom vent didn't work, shower is affected by other guests using faucets and/or toilets, as the water temperature in the shower would change from just right to ice cold to near scalding. Beds were not comfortable, very stiff. The next morning while waiting for my traveling companion to get ready to leave I sat down in the desk chair that was in the roomand nearly toppled over on to the floor when one of the wheels came off!
Overall their level of maintenance, cleanliness and just plain care is horrid, do NOT stay here unless you have no other options, and even then, consider trying somewhere or something else.
I never leave bad reviews but we booked a room here last minute in the middle of the night because we had pets with us and needed a room to sleep in. The bed sheets had a huge throw up spot on it that wasn't changed. The bottom of the shower had a ton of nasty gunk and little hairs all over it that I had to scrub. There was a clog in the shower and a condom got dug out. An outlet was hanging out of the wall. The lamp shades were all broken. I didn't see bed bugs and one of the beds had clean sheets at least. The vent in the bathroom was half ripped out of the wall and didn't work. Called corporate and got a refund. Would have went somewhere else under different circumstances but this was by far the grossest place I have EVER stayed. I would post pictures if it would let me
The Days Inn is located directly across the street from a supermarket. They have an indoor pool. We got in about 8pm. We were offered free cookies and popcorn. The free breakfast is incredible. All of the workers were friendly and smiled. The best part for me was the elevator.
The staff here is super friendly! The rooms are outdated and blanket had big rip in it, but clean. The pool was a good way to wind down the kids at night, but did make your skin feel greasy. The breakfast area is nice, I would recommend a new toaster though. The elevator was extra, extra slow. The pothole in the driveway, could be filled in. That was there a few years ago when I visited the area. The staff again was very friendly! I would give the staff 5 stars! The hotel itself does need some work though. 😉
Easy access off highway, hotel could use some maintenance, room cleanliness could be better, i.e. hair clogged drains in bathtub, good customer service.
It was good for the price. Not too much for breakfast though.
set up a baby shower for may in there meeting room the price was very reasonable judging by the lobby and meeting room it seemed a little dated and not as clean as it could be but overall a good value the staff very helpful and friendly
Great price for an overnight stay. We were able to stay here and drive into Corning in the morning. Customer service was lovely
The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The free continental breakfast is simple but acceptable, don't expect an amazing breakfast. The pool is a nice touch. Recommend visiting Watkins Glen State Park nearby.
