We chose this inn for our overnight stay in Fort Davis. We knew from the description that it was a B&B and not a hotel. Barb is so easy going, fun to chat with and cooks up a delicious breakfast. She has created a space that has charm and just feels cozy. I appreciate that our room, the Guides Peak, had an impressive four poster bed with a really great mattress. It was also clean, roomy and air conditioned with a private bath. We loved the property, the fragrant landscaping and the wrap around porches. Overall the home is visually appealing, clean and homey. Since it’s just outside of town there are so many stars that can be seen at night (during a new moon). With so much to do in the area, it’s a great place to retreat to after a long day of running around in the West Texas mountains. Wish we were staying longer and would like to return again soon.

We loved staying here! The room and bed were comfortable, the home welcoming, and the breakfast delicious. We enjoyed chatting with Barb and the other guests. Highly recommend!

A house with rooms in the middle of a field on the road into Fort Davis. Wear shoes, the goatheads stuck in my flaps. Beds were comfy. Kitchen/bar had a small fridge with no greezer/ice. The best think served in the central part of the house scrambled eggs, with the french toast and biscuits and gravy falling in my "why bother" category. Never saw the hosts, and no one lives there, just guests. Lodging choices are very limited in this a tree area and overall, I was pleased. Brought my own bottled water, as always. Big screen tv on satellite. The place is for sale.

The accommodation was excellent. We stayed for a night. There were no other guests that night. It is a cozy place to stay.
Barb, made excellent breakfast the next morning and suggested a scenic route to Big Bend - which was spectacular. Stay here if your travels take you there.

This place a true treasure. The views of the mountains and scenery are wonderful! It’s quiet and comfortable and the host cooks an amazing breakfast 🍳 to get you back on your way during your travels. If you get a chance to meet the liaison Sweet Pea, she is a friendly cat that will give you a tour of the outside area and make you feel welcome at home. I wish I could take this place with me every time I travel. My wife and I give it four thumbs up!
