Nice people, very good rental bike! So many good bike trails in LA; what a pleasure to get out of the car.

I rented a bike from this place. Very easy process, and the bike was great! Dan was very friendly, too. I highly recommend using this to rent your bike!

Tl;dr: A weird shop run by a weird dude who rents weird bikes.

My brother and I rented two bikes for two and a half days. He only charged us for two days which was nice, and the prices weren't bad, but the bikes themselves were in terrible condition and barely worked. Most of the components were quite rusty and worn. One of the brakes on my brother's bike basically didn't work and his rear derailleur was way out of adjustment, and the three highest gears on my cassette were so worn that the chain skipped every other pedal stroke. All of this wouldn't have mattered as much if we hadn't been relying on the bikes as our sole form of transportation for almost three days, but at least they didn't break down.

The guy who rented to us was pretty strange too, he was very curt and sort of mumbled so it was difficult to understand him, and gave of really weird vibes. Overall a strange experience, but not altogether bad.

If your standards are low, then the prices will match them. But hey, free ice cream!
