Cute little store with alllll kinds of souvenirs and little trinkets and toys. They also have a large assortment of locally mined minerals and crystals and such for sale.
The floor space to walk is pretty tight. I'm not sure strollers or wheelchairs could get around in there. If you go on a very touristy weekend, it will be pretty packed and hard to walk around.
Prices are pretty reasonable considering it's a tourist trap.

I stopped in 10 minutes before closing tonight to buy a decorative sign I saw in the window. The gentleman working there was kind enough to get the sign out of the window display since it was the last one, and allowed me to continue to look, even though they were about to close. I quickly browsed and found another item to purchase. I appreciate the fact that he allowed me to continue shopping, even right before closing. I will definitely be back to purchase more things. The prices are fantastic and they have a great selection!

Great destination spot to shop for items and gifts. Great staff and friendly people. The $.05 coffee is good and fresh. Cookbooks and shirt selection are unique for the area.

Quaint and kind of old fashioned. Filled with lots of gifts and a pleasure to walk around.Some good mineral specimens. I could have spent a good hour just browsing in here. Loved it.

We make sure our visits to Dahlonega include the General Store. Always something new to be found. They have a tall hat stand just behind the counter near the stairs, and the men's hats in particular are very nice (and decently priced, as well.) The old timey signs in the upper portion are a favorite of ours, too.

MY FAVORITE STORE EVER!! Coming into this store just makes me feel good! So much to look at and a neat place to take visiting family and friends to. They also have jams and jelly's that are pretty tasty as well.

This is a cool place to visit. It truly is a general store, but not in a historical sense. It is packed full of stuff nobody needs, but which we all line up to buy. Really. Go visit, it will be fun, and you'll buy rocks, knives, incense, rattlesnake eggs, preserves, and signs. And that's not the weird stuff.

One of a kind, old time general store. Always have to drop a dime for some coffee and get a few peanuts. The kids love looking around and playing the ghost piano.

It has that look and feel of an old, small town general store. Plenty of the goodies stocked here come from around the immediate vicinity and around North Georgia so you're always bound to find something cool or unique.

I love visiting local stores of the towns i am in and this place is exactly that. They have a lot of stuff made in or near Dahlonega that is different and out of the ordinary. Lots of jams and "culinary" type products. The staff was not super attentive but they got the job done!

A very cool touristy store on the square. Worth checking out even if you live in Dahlonega. I've been up to Dahlonega so many times and I only just recently actually checked this place out. It's very cool.
