Quaint old store much like bygone days. Lots of items. A fun place to visit and the only grocery store in the Helen area that I know of. We visit there every time we're in town.

A true gem in Helen! We were up early before all of the coffee shops and breakfast places opened and we came into Betty's and were pleased to find a breakfast sandwich counter and a fresh cup of coffee! Also had local goods including homemade jams, etc.

Part convenience store, part grocery, part liquor store with a whole lot of atmosphere and generally friendly staff. The seem to have good quality products, but prices are often on the higher side. If you are in the area, it is a good stop to make!

Quaint decor, has a large variety of items not found in chain stores, large beer and wine selection, service meat department where you can get steaks cut to order. Great variety of Cheeses, large size homemade cookies, cooked in store. Great book section, wide variety of Produce. Good variety of Nora Mill items. Don't miss the Bee Hive , there's a window to view them working.

I didn't take many photos of the location. But i was there during hurricane irma. Luckily i was invited by some friends here, and it was an amazing experience. I love the locals and the culture in the town. This store has amazing employees and they are very helpful. ask them anything. They will help.

Laid back country store with some modern appeal. Pretty fair selection of libations. Fresh meats and hard to source cheeses. Somewhat pricey but so is everything in this tourist town.

Love this place!! Have to stop in here each time I go to Helen, GA. Their prices are high but that's to be expected of a "specialty" grocery store in a small tourist destination/town. Great throwback memories with all the old timey candy and soda brands. Expansive selection of wine and good selection of beer. Fabulous meat counter - beautiful cuts of meat to take back to the cabin and grill. Nice deli and bakery area too.

This place has been around since I was a kid! I always loved going in there to get special treats and to see the bees. I am so glad they still have the bees so my kids can enjoy an experience that is a fond childhood memory of mine.

Excellent country store. A real pleasure with an excellent staff. Sandwiches for lunch were delicious and very reasonable. Liked everything about our visit. I wish we lived closer. I would buy items from n thier web site if I could. Great place.

Very cool country style store in the quaint town of Helen. They have a lot of unique touches like a variety of nut mixes, old style candy and the biggest cookies ive seen. Thete is a fresh meat section in the rear and a small eatery.

Unfortunately I stumbled across this place on my last day in Helen. It will be my first stop next time. They have everything you could need from wine tasting and imported beers to home made salsa, jellys and veggies. A fully grocery store and you have to try the humongous homemade cookies. I mistakenly only got one.

“Great biscuits ”
Just a grocery store with a deli in the back, but we stopped and bought biscuits for the road. They had sausage and ham biscuits in a hot box. They added cheese and egg for me. They were very good! Place to go in town if you forgot anything for your trip.
