This is our go to place to go kayaking over on the Crystal River. The staff is very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. They have laminated maps to help you on your Kayaking journey. If you were going to three sister springs this is the best launch site it is literally a 10 minute Paddle. The parking lot can be small to make sure you get there early.

I highly recommend! The guy at the dock helped us get in and they gave us life jackets for no charge. Then when we got back, they helped us out and carried our boards to the car. My friend and I were struggling with the straps on the roof and the dad of the dock assistant showed us a better way to strap the boards down without damaging out boards. The service was above and beyond, and the water access was easy! We will be going back for sure.

Took us a few U-Turns to find, but was very pleased with everything. Very friendly and helpful staff, kayaks were great, prices were great! We were there during the off season and managed to see one manatee up close- and we only went out for two hours! We were told we were very lucky, but I can’t wait to come back in a few weeks when they all start moving into the springs! It really was a magical experience!

This place is fantastic. My wife and I came here a couple weeks ago near the beginning of October and it was a great experience. We got there when it opened at 8am on a Saturday and found lots of parking at that time. We we're the first ones there that wasn't staff. The staff was ready though. I came in and a guy named John greeted me. Really down to earth easy going dude. We told him we were thinking about a full day but wrent sure if we wanted to be out there that long. He said that we could pay for the 2-4 hour rental and if we wanted to stay out longer we could just do that and then pay the difference when we came back. Such an awesome offer. We ended up only staying out there just under 4hours but I was a nice offer of make. His time of year in October it's low season for them. His was my first time at Crystal River and the next time I come I won't think twice to rent from here again. They were all just amazing and made our day great. Before we left on our kayak tour John asked if we had watched the required videos beforehand and we had, than he showed us the map on the place and gave recommendations of where to go for the amount of time we had. He told us where we could find others and where we could find manatees this time of year. We didn't see the otters, but we ran into a herd of manatees near the banana island area he pointed out. We bolted there first thing after checking out three sisters spring on the way out. We launched about 20 ft away from where we parked our car. Easy and quick launch. Then we were off to see the three sisters springs first while it was empty. Then we headed to banana island area to see he manatee heard. We even ran into a mom and baby manatee.. really ausumn experience I will never forget.. when we got back John made some suggestions of what else we could do with our day. Really great place. If you want a place to rent a kayak in Crystal river then this is your place. You just can't be any better.

A group of friends and I took a guided kayak tour and it was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, John, was very knowledgeable and friendly and everyone there was super helpful. The scenery was beautiful and we saw dolphins up close, manatees, and different types of local wildlife. We had a great time! The experience itself was absolutely incredible, I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! We will definitely be back soon!

These guys are amazing and extremely helpful. I'm not a good swimmer and never kayak before, but they took me in, tainned me and an hour later I was on my own Then I came back and did the manatees tour. For $50 a guided tour of manatees Awesome!!!

We were referred to Crystle River Kayak Company and are so glad we were! The staff was incredibly helpful and enthusiastically helped in every way. We purchased two kayaks. We got a great deal and enjoyed really good experiences over three different visits. Highly recommend this establishment. The owner, affectionately known as Captain Morgan, is wonderful to deal with.
