The Cons: If you're expecting regular bathrooms w/ plumbing -- surprise! Out-house-type composting port-a-potty, w/ toilet papers. Watch out, water is not down far enough and could splash up! Bring your flashlight, cause a very small window allows little light. Flies abound during the day. Urine-pickled feces stench sometimes blows to campsites. For water: Rustic manual-pump wells, but water tastes like rusted metals. However, look for at the eastern-side of the campground a spring-fed water outlet, which is superb. Showers (and regular toilets w/ plumbing), are found at Jigger Johnson campground, 6 miles to the west.
Pros: Nice campground, gentle host. Half a mile close-by find a nice 3-miles hiking trail called the Boulder loop: amazing cliff views. Also nearby is picturesque river and bridge. Once accepting lack of plumbing, all's well. 3.5 stars (1.5 star off for bathroom/shower situation & rust-tasting well water).

We reserved a tent only spot, and it couldn't have been better. Clear rules when you enter the grounds, but laid back self serve environment. Host available if needed. Easy access to toilets and water. Our camp site was like a fairy tale it was so damn cute! We had moss covered steps leading up to a freshly raked and LARGE area with picnic table, fire pit, and we even were next to a babbling brook! Beautiful woods behind us, and the sites are far enough apart that the woods muffles most of the noise. The best part about this Campground is that it is a 20 minute walk to the Lower Falls!!! I will definitely return!!!!

Great rustic, no frills campground. Plenty of seclusion when you want it, but friendly people if you want to socialize a bit!

No showers here, but bathrooms are clean and campsites are generous sizes. The hosts regularly come round to ensure everything is going well.

My tip for them is to relabel the "public water supply" to "potable water supply". While this may seem obvious, as a long-time hiker/camper who knows the danger of and difference between water for other uses and water safe to drink without boiling, I was not comfortable using this water until I confirmed it.
