Best local theater. Clean and matinees are very affordable. Popcorn is pretty good and now they have the self serve soda fountains removing a significant bottleneck. Local kids work here so be sure and support them.

Nice theater. It is small but very clean and the employees are always friendly and helpful. Shows lots of different movies so is good if not everyone likes the same genre.

Great prices! Especially on Tuesdays! Great staff, great popcorn, and I love how the butter is out where people can put their butter on their own popcorn.

I love coming here for movies. It's so affordable that I don't mind going to a movie several times if it's good. I recommend joining the loyalty program. I paid $15 to join in December and since I've had several free tickets and snacks for rewards.

Not impressed. The seats are very uncomfortable. They don't recline. The HVAC system in the first two theaters is super loud. I asked the manager two separate times if he could do anything about it. He didn't. Still could hear the movies. Also they keep changing the matinee time for the movies. It was till 6 now it's 4. A couple different times we went to the movies there was some kids in the movie theater screaming and yelling threw the whole movie. I asked the staff to do something 2 times and they just came in and looked for a second and left. After the movie I asked a staff member if I could speak with a manager. He asked me to hold on when he went looking for him. We waited 10 minutes then just decided to leave. I recommend the Joplin movie theater. It's a little more expensive but I prefer quality.

Good Popcorn, Nice Staff, Clean, Lots of Showings, and Comfortable Seating. You aren't cramped together and there are cup holders on both arms of the chair.

Love the arm rests, the seats are comfy and the tickets are affordable. Great place to see a movie. I wish they had more/a wider selection of movies, though.

For families, this is the place to go for all your cinematic needs. The price beats all others around, and the atmosphere is always very clean while the staff are helpful and friendly. Tuesdays are all-day matinee, and there are discounts for students everyday. The butter is self-serve, as are the drinks, and they now also offer free refills on small drinks as well as large. While concession prices always cut deep, it does ease the pain a little bit to know that they come with refills. As a homeschooling parent of 5, we are constantly taking advantage of attending movies during the day when the crowds are small and the lines are practically nonexistent. Thank you, AMC Pittsburg. We will continue our patronage, and sing your praises to others as we go.
