Uncomfortable and I was actually bitten by a rock in the room. The hotel in general left much to be desired. I will never choose this property again. I chose the downtown location but somehow ended up being confirmed for this much farther out location.

We stayed there overnight during a trip. They do offer free breakfast. The rooms were somewhat small and the amenities were limited.

I booked a night at this hotel for a trip that was planned over 6 months in advance. I received notice today that my reservation had been cancelled and to call an 800 to get my options. I called the number and of course they have no rooms available for the dates of my trip within 60 miles. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never stay at another country inn and suites again.

We always stay in Country Inn & Suites if at all possible. We have stayed in this hotel a few times before. We are Carlson Club members. This particular hotel seems to have fallen on hard times. The Breakfast equipment was 'out of service' so only cold items available for the free included breakfast. The room was in great need of repair. There was a plastic bag tied over and covering the smoke detector. There was mold on ceiling and wall above shower and rust coming through walls at corner in Bathroom. A large carpenter ant crawled across the bed while I was in it. The clock/radio emitted loud static even when off. These things reported at checkout with no offer to offset room price from desk manager.

Disappointed. I booked this hotel by accident as I meant to book the one closer to downtown Tallahassee. Visit Alice a good 20 minutes from downtown so be prepared for the traffic during rush hour. The room had a very musty odor when we walked in the air was off. Even after running the air for an hour you still can't get rid of the smell. There was mold and mildew all along that the rim of the tub add mildew in the air conditioner. The hotel was pretty full so asking for a room change wasn't an option so after 2 days, I'm going home sick. The bed was comfy. My friend she stayed at the Country Inns and Suites downtown on Monroe Street had a great experience.

Stopped here on a road trip to Key West. I recommend skipping this one and going somewhere else. We were assigned room 310 on Sat. Feb.18. Very poor upkeep in this hotel. The clock was broken, the luggage rack too wobbly to use, the bathroom door was too warped to shut, and the shower appeared moldy. (The grout was gray, but not ALL of the grout.) See the picture posted by another guest. Had we arrived sooner we would have looked for a different hotel. We often stay at this chain on road trips and this is the first time we have been dissatisfied. - Carol and James White

The rooms were clean and the staff was adequate. The housekeeping staff kept coming by too early for our liking. They came by around 9:30 am and we had to tell them to come back later. Then at 11:30 we still hadn't left for the day yet, so we told them we would be out in an hour. Everything was done well, we just prefer to sleep in and the cleaning to be done in the afternoon. The disappointing part came with breakfast. When we ate at 8:30 am the waffle mix was almost gone, and what I did get to make tasted awful. The eggs were rubbery and the automatic juice dispensers tasted watered down. The sausage was good and the baked goods were fine. All around fine for the discounted rate we got with our wedding party. I would've been very disappointed had we paid full price.
