Experience was good. Room comfortable. Breakfast offering was mediocre. Only hot items available was this weird little omelet thing, oatmeal, and make your own waffles. Cut up fruit was bland. Fresh bananas were very green tasting.

Our second horrible experience with a country inn. Blood on our comforter. Giant chunk of long hairs on shower wall. Hole in ceiling. Shower leaked all over bathroom. Lock broken. They comped our room.

Such a friendly, courteous, kind staff. Always accommodating to their guests needs. My husband and I were married last year, March 18th, 2017, in front of your fireplace in the lobby with my parents and kids as our witnesses. Thank you for the amazing service your staff provides for their guests!

Nice rooms for the price. Breakfast was a great selection. Staff was friendly. Fridge and microwave in the room. Pool and jacuzzi with a fitness room. Pretty awesome hotel.

Great Place to stay. I’m super picky about hotels and rarely give them good reviews. This one exceeded my expectations! Place was very clean, I’m super attentive to detail on cleanliness, and I couldn’t find anything “off” in our room. Beds were decently comfortable. The pool area was also very clean and well maintained. Our kids enjoyed it. The breakfast had a good selection and a very attentive person refilling and cleaning as people were in and out. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I was impressed by the friendly staff, and the snacks, coffee and tea in the lobby. The fitness center had 9 machines, while most places usually have about 3. The only thing i was disapointed by was that there was no water cooler in the fitness room.

Thank you, from Ignite Hospitality Services, to Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Effingham for having our client Musican Brandon Maddox at your wonderful hotel. Start off your morning off right with their free hot breakfast. The comfy beds paired with the indoor pool made it easy to relax while traveling. The staff was polite and professional.

We are fans of Country Inn & Suites. This was our first stay at this location off of I-57. The lobby was cozy. The room was similar to their other locations. Nice TV, comfortable bed. Hot tub remained open late which was nice after a long drive. We left very early, before breakfast buffet. They don't offer a "to go" breakfast. We will return to this location.

This is where I stay and where we send our out of town guests when they come to visit. The employees are professional and very friendly. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good. The pool is very nice. I highly recommend.

Very nice. The booking agency gave us a king size bed although there was 3 of us. There were no other rooms avaliable but they brought us a roll away. Very helpful.

Proof that happy employees make for good business. Clean room's, breakfast, pool, and many other pluses made our stay a good way to breakup a long road trip. We thank the staff and management for their hard work. I will be recommending C.I.&S. To any and everyone. It was that good of an experience.

The hotel is right next to I-57 and within walking distance to Walmart, Buffalo Wild Wings, and several other restaurants. The rooms were clean and we'll kept. The service desk was polite. Best hotel for the price.
