Not too bad, but not great. Met expectations. Free breakfast is pretty decent, hot eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Rooms a little dated, carpet and furniture old but functional, beds not too good. Bathrooms are spatious, functional, but dated. Not a fan of the dated showerhead, but all drains worked well. Floors creaky, and hallway sounds are noticeable.

Staff was great, breakfast was good, and rooms were clean. Only knock is the hotel looks a little tired and needs a rehab.

Staff was friendly and the room was nice, clean, and comfortable. My only issue was with the shower. The water pressure was slightly less than desirable, and the rod for the shower curtain was oddly shaped in a way where the shower curtain would come to rest all bunched up in the middle, with no covering on either side. This led to water getting everywhere. No other complaints. Everything else was as I would expect from a hotel.

The hotel was in a good location, located right off the interstate by several restaurants, etc. Inside it had many interesting amenities: a lending library, a pool (with showers in the area), cookies and coffee available, big breakfast available but only had one real hot option the morning we were there. Their elevator needed some work. It was very slow and made a long beep almost as soon as the doors opened. For anyone in the third floor (who needs to use the elevator all the time), that gets annoying in a hurry.

Very clean and very friendly workers. Very good and hot breakfast. Very nice pool and work out area. Great price. I would highly recommend staying here.

Rooms and service were very nice. Pool was somewhat small. The pool area could be cleaner. Breakfast was good. Overall a good deal.

The location is near campus, roughly 10mins. The room was very comfortable and spacious. They were very accommodating for everyone that left before breakfast and went as far as putting food out early.

I have spent 2 weeks at this hotel and have had an excellent experience. The rooms, pool, lobby, and all other areas are super clean. Housekeeping has been wonderful. I called and advised them I would be late last Sunday checking in due to weather and the front desk agent was so sweet and told me not to worry about it and drive safe and they would see me when I got there. Then when I checked in (without any prior knowledge of what time I would be there and turned out to be 6 hours later) that same front desk person said 'so glad you made it!' And it really made a great impression on me that he was so friendly and personable. To remember someone who at the time had only stayed with your hotel one week and hadn't had much communication with the hotel prior aside from checking out and checking in, it just felt very accommodating that he remembered me and also put me in a room with two queen beds which I always prefer. I'm telling you, Country Inn & Suites is the BEST place to stay in Champaign IL! Don't just take my word for it, stay there and experience their genuine hospitality yourself. 😃
