BED BUGS! This hotel is literally INFESTED with bedbugs. They have spread throughout the whole building like a plague! No breakfast in the morning besides stale donuts and expired coffee. All the heaters/air-conditioners are also broken for each room as are all the other appliances. I had to wait for weeks on a microwave! When I was using the dryer one day I pulled the lint trap out to clean it and found shriveled up bedbugs! The rooms are not secure either because of forced entry through the door. The plumbing is all jacked up too, hardly nothing drains or flushes. I've stayed in 4 different rooms in this hotel and the circumstances were the same everytime, if not worse. The maintenance man is a crack head who hardly knows how to operate a simple power drill. As for the owner, well he's the most crooked, greedy, deceitful, person I've ever met! Most the office staff are extremely rude as well, especially the heavy set girl!

Were do I begin. Well first off we paid for a week and it was 7 days of trouble. When we first got there the man at the front desk was sweet but lost. The "good" rooms are left for the guests who stay for a day or two NOT those who stay longer (which makes no sense btw) but never the less we manage to get one and the owner was not happy about it. The room appeared ok but it was NOT! We had no microwave and kept getting excuse as to why we couldn't get one and was asked to use the one in the office (which hadn't been clean since it was perchased) and was a big in convince. Our room also had bed bugs! So with the owner not wanting us in one of the "nicer" rooms he used that as an opportunity to give a one of the "week" rooms which he assured me was bed bug free, it was NOT! In fact it was infested (we also didn't have hot water, a fridge or microwave and it was dirty)! Not only was I dinner for the parasites my kids became an all you can eat buffet! I told management immediately and nothing was done in fact after multiple trips to the office from using the microwave to reporting problems l was flat out ignored. So with having so much trouble we decided to go so we asked for a refund for the days that were left and he reluctantly offered the minimum. The owner is a crook and can be very nasty (to guest and even worst his employees) and I'm100 percent sure he would not allow his dog to stay here let alone his family. Need less to say you get what you pay for. Oh and no continental breakfast just stale donuts which I saw a big clear containers in a back room (I guess he buys them in bulk and distributes them daily).

What is less than completely disappointed? Stayed a month there. Had no room service, no microwave for the first two weeks. Wound up having to change rooms just to find bed bugs. My first room didn't seem like they had them but the second one was no mistaking it. Got along with the management well enough but nothing I complained about was ever fixed. Would not recommend to anyone not even someone I hate.

I was in town for four nights for a high school reunion (Go Beechwood Tigers!) and had a great time, but this hotel was not part of it. Although I prepaid on Expedia and had all relevant documentation, the manager just coudn't find my reservation. I really think that my name had an extra consonant where he didn't expect it and finally discovered it by chance at about midnight, a good 20 minutes after arrival.
The first floor room was supposed to be non-smoking, but reeked of old tobacco. It was clean enough, with decent water pressure and hot water and no sign of insect life, thank God. The first problem was the "continental breakfast," which consisted of a half-dozen stale donuts. The next morning the assortment was slightly different, but all stale. The coffee had no creamer or sweetener, and was quite terrible. We went to the Waffle House across Donaldson Hwy.
A bigger problem was the absence of housekeeping. At no time was our wastebasket emptied. After we returned Friday night and found our bed unmade I complained at the office but no explanation was forthcoming. On Saturday I stopped in the office for toilet paper and again complained that nobody was making up the bed or emptying trash. At that point I was told, "The maids won't touch your bed if it has personal property on it," and this extended to pajamas and a travel blanket. So Sunday we were DOUBLY sure not to have anything on the bed, but--no matter--our room remained untouched until we flew out on Monday.
There was an in-room microwave, but the socket it was supposed to plug into was broken, and it could only be used by swapping with the fridge.
I had a long talk with Expedia about getting a partial refund, but apparently that's not going to happen.
It did have some positives: great wifi (strong and open). It was 10 minutes from the rental-car return, but turning left out of the hotel was always an interesting challenge.response / report this review -

For the price it is a great stay. My love n I stayed for couple weeks, Love the staff, so friendly! No bed bugs in my room, had water bugs but every hotel/motel has bugs if u look hard enough.

BED BUGS! This place was HORRIBLE!!! Stayed there last night and when we got in the room it didn't seem too bad at first but then slowly realized we were wrong. I turned on the TV and you could barely see anything, the toilet was broken, the floor in the bath room was filthy, there was slimy sticky stuff in the tub, the air conditioner barely worked but the worst part was having to get my husband up at 4am and drive us over an hour back home because the bed bugs were so bad! When I noticed them we got out of the bed and saw many crawling every where! But, I guess that's what we get for paying $60 for a motel room. All I'm saying is of country hearth inn won't do any maintenance on their rooms at least spend some money and get rid of the bed bugs.

The rooms are very dated. The room had a weird smell to it. For having an on site maintenance person the shower didn't work right the drains didn't work right. There is no maid service during stay. We found mouse poop in the room. When booked online said it had a pool and it does not have a pool anymore it broke and they said they aren't fixing it. The beds are hard as rocks. Tile in shower was bowed in and needed fixed. Will never stay at this hotel again. And there is a sign in office says no pets there are pets there so if you or anyone staying has pet allergies be warned there were dogs there we saw.
