Has nice vibes, contemporary. The breakfast is great. It is within walking distance to the park and ride to downtown which takes 15 minutes on the 120x
Hotel is fairly clean, breakfast was decent but the walls are paper thin. Got a call 15 min. After checking in that I was to loud!!! I was laying in bed watching T.V. At 6 A.M. I was woken up by voices in both sides of my walls. Do Not stay here! You literally can hear over to the next room like they are standing next to you. Thought it was odd at check in that they told me to be extra quiet after 10 P.M.
Friendly front desk staff. Comfortable room. Clean. Very roomy. Kitchenette . Good $ . I was this hotel a good rating. That's before I was charged $20.95 for a washcloth that had a stain on it. I called the the hotel and they explained that according to the user agreement. This was a acceptable charge. I mentioned that you can buy a washcloth. At most reputable stores for less than $5. They recommended I go through my credit card company to dispute the charge. Which I will be doing. apparently the reason the price is so good they are going to charge you for other things to make up the difference.
Very nice hotel. Beds could have been more comfortable though. Otherwise clean, except for finding a very dirty Q-Tips on the floor that didn't come from us. Had a very nice selection of hot complementary hot breakfast. Decent sized bathroom.
I am upset I have to give 1 star. The Manager on duty, Annette, is anything but hospitable. She was coarse and abrasive and offered zero assistance in a difficult, but manageable situation. If she is expected to act this way as part of her duties, then Cottonwood suites is a remorseless entity not deserving a single shred of your business. Stay elsewhere. You'll be better off.
Stayed at this hotel for 4 days and cant find one thing ti complain about. All the workers were great and the breakfast was good and started early so i was able to go do all my other stuff. Planning on going back next year and will definitely go back to this hotel
Very clean. Professional staff. Welcoming property. No dust or prints and the staff really take good care of the place and guests. Fresh clean smells mixed with the cooking food made a homey breakfast. Kitchen area in room was clean and fresh. Very pleased during our stay. Will return when back in Denver area again.
The rooms were the cleanest I have been in and I have been on the road for 4 months. The floor literally sparkles and every surface was dusted. The breakfast is nice with eggs and yogurt and other options for variety. There is a full size refrigerator and a microwave with a nice kitchen setup. It is off the main road so it is quiet from any traffic noise and when I complained because the man next to me was playing a loud TV until midnight, they were willing to move me up to another room the next day which worked out perfectly. The bed is very comfortable and with a hair dryer and ironing board what more could one need in a room?
Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Very clean. Courteous and helpful staff. No common area bathrooms. Could hear our neighbors through the walls all night. Ice machine on 1st floor only.
This place has a complimentary breakfast, one morning it had a ham and cheese omelet, I don't know about you but when I think of a ham and cheese omelet I think of ham and cheese, not PEPPERS. It was folded up with the ingredients inside so you couldn't see and i took a nice bite of the omelet. I immediately got sick and told the management that they need to at least label their food. They told me "you eat the food at your own RISK"! Wow I have never been told that ever by anyone ever. STAY AWAY!!!!
We stayed in this hotel 4 nights. The location of the hotel is perfect. There are many restaurant in the area. Less than 25 minutes to Denver downtown and 70 minutes to Rocky mountain national park.
Our room was clean and tidy. The room could be a little larger. The beds were not as comfortable as I expected but I got used to it. I liked the breakfast. If you find a deal to reserve this hotel, it totally worth it to stay in this hotel.
The room was fine. 2beds small dresser and a small table with 2 chairs. Small kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator.
Last room on the first floor. Smelled like cigarette smoke. Didn't take long to figure out the designated smoking area was right outside the backdoor, which was an exit only.
A PTac right inside that exit only door, catching all the smoke and blowing it into the bldg and our room.
The staff were friendly enough. Some offered hellos while others would just return the greeting.
We seen one housekeeper (I think she was a housekeeper) never wore a uniform of any kind, but she did have keys and seemed to be helping. She was also the most friendly.
Beds were small, uncomfortable and springs stabbed you throughout the night. Rooms are dated, bathroom trim was falling apart too. Sink and tub didn't drain properly. They surprise you with a $125 charge for the room for damages, which I understand, but would have been a nice disclosure to know about when booking. They don't tell you about the cleaning schedule, came to my room with it wide open, anyone could've walked in there, cleaning lady didn't verify we stayed in there.
Otherwise staff was friendly, easy check in and out process (less than 3-4 minutes), the free breakfast wasn't bad either. For the price and location, it is what it is, but left a lot to be desired.
I had a pleasant stay. The front desk staff was very nice. They greeted me with a smile and went out of their way to help me with planning my two days in Denver. The furniture in the rooms look dated, but clean. The room was very spacious. Plenty of parking, but if you park fat from the main entrance you have to walk all the way to the main entrance because all the other enhances are exit only.
