Loves the anchovies and Octopus tapas - and the Spanish vibe in this place. While everything excellent I thought the staff could be a little more attentive. Braised oxtail was excellent.

Great authentic Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine. Charming atmosphere with a local hometown vibe. Cuisine and surroundings make you feel like you are in a little restaurant in the heart of Spain.

An authentic Spanish restaurant that has great tapas.
The cost is reasonable for the quality of the food that they serve.
Go for the food go for the ambiance go for the music go for the culture.

Good tapas are hard to find in the States, much less in the San Diego area. They have them, along with some impressive wine. Servers are knowledgeable and wine fans as well, so just ask. They made a great Sangiovese recommendation for us.

Great happy hour deal: half price sangria and select tapas! The greenery in front of the restaurant makes you feel secluded from the noise of Garnet

5 stars are necessary simply to express how amazing the food is. Classic Spanish tapas in an equally authentic restaurant encironment. Yes, your Google maps is correct you can easily miss this gem because of their ivy covered wall and super tiny sign. Service is more European than most Americans would care for but totally worth it for the tapas. Another plus is the unique Spanish wine list. Make it a romantic night out, or a place to go with close friends.

The only original Spanish restaurant in San Diego. Best tapas, superior paella, friendly service and great atmosphere. We come here for years and its our favorite restaurant in the City. They also have a happy hour. Try the delicious garlic soup and make sure to have the Sangria. End your meal with the crema catalana.
