Yeah I went there with a groupon, 1st thing I saw was a sign saying As ofNo groupons accepted.
I was told that they would not make me hahbrowns for my fish because I wasn't having breakfast,
The gal that was the waitress was also the cook . She did let me know that I could order 2 pieces of cod baked and 2 fried,
Now this was about the only arguement I was going to win with her so I took it, the food was beyond comparison.
Very well done and great porportions.
Just the best ever.
Having some of the local gal's commiserate and giggle at me was priceless and..you just can't buy that.
The best face of America that I have seen in years.
Groupon, well maybe they suk but they got me in the door of this place that corporate America would bulldoze in a heartbeat.
If you are not willing to make your own damn coffee, maybe this place is not for you.If you want real food, served by real people, sensibly priced This is the real deal.
It's 200 miles away from me but I am already wondering how I can get back.response / report this review -

Four of us had lunch. Three hot prime rib sandwich specials and a pattie melt with fries. All excellent and hot! Friendly service and cozy atmosphere. The bathrooms were clean, but had an old plumbing smell.

In town for a wedding and found this place doing a search. Food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Very reasonably priced also. We would go back if ever in town again. Thanks for the great food and service!

Only thing that was good was the speed of service. Went for cinnamon rolls and was given "she didn't make any and I don't know why, everyone is asking for them but she didn't make them." Pancakes were flavorless, had to go get my own jelly since the waitress left to go to pharmacy. Oj was sour and cheap. Coffee was ok but not great. I would avoid if I were you.

Barnes Corner Cafe has been under new management since middle of November 2016. Open til 2 daily. Fridays awesome fishfry 12 to 8. You definately never leave hungry. 😜

Best breakfast in the area, for sure. Friday night fish was on point! Cinnamon rolls are big and delicious. Nothing better than a good, small town diner, and this one is worth the trip.

Breakfast steak was terrible,eggs and potatoes were fine but nothing to really shake your fork at. Couldn't even get the steak taken off the bill when we asked politely,it wasn't even cooked right. Wont be returning. Only reason for two stars was the decent prices.

Was a great breakfast, service was great food was great price was great. Nice to have a "family diner" in town. Not a chain or big box store. 5stars! The new owner is doing a wonderful job!!
