Camped here 5 years in a row! Excellent fishing, swimming, boating opportunities. Staff is friendly, to a point, but I'm not there to be pandered to. Yes there are quite hours, camper sites allow two tents or one camper one tent. All fees are non refundable, which is stated on your registration form. If the heat makes you sick, may I suggest a hotel.

I love this place! Best campground I have ever camped at in 50 yrs of camping all over Wisconsin !

Been here and I shall return. Kids like and the faculties are pretty good. Staff is very friendly and the beachfront is large. Amenities include electricity hookup, boat launch, indoor bathrooms/shower (coin operated although), snack bar, gift shop. Fishing is good and plentiful. A bait shop is close and opens early enough. Sometimes the algae from the lake gets soupy if it has been hot and stale. The green/blue aglae can stain some swimwear but is still safe to swim in.

Me and my husband have stayed here for the past 2 years and it wasn't until this year that we will not be coming back. We went to take a shower and the showers were filthy and they bathrooms were about the same. We were one our honeymoon and the heat was making me and my husband sick so we wanted to go someplace with air and get our money back. We couldn't get our money back for the unstayed nights which seemed acceptable, but we were told we could get a "camper credit" and just finish out the unstayed nights another time. We went home in the air conditioning (we live down the road) and we debated it, called them only for them to say that the credit could not even be done. So basically, we donated an extra $60.00 to them for nothing. Not to mention they were rude when me and my husband were just trying to talk to them. We will not be staying there again

This was one of the best campgrounds I have been to! The shower facilities, sinks, floors, and the restrooms with plumbing were superbly clean. The showers had nice hot water! Even the pit toilet wasn't that bad. I camped right by the lake and loved it. We did bring out own little grill, which worked out perfect. The fire pits are old truck rims which are just the right size.
