Overpriced, you are surely paying for the ambiance and history of the building. Went there for the first and last time for Fathers' day, have been wanting to try it for quite sometime. I ordered the Cioppino for $17 which consists of 4 small clams, a piece of fish that was about a 1 inch and half square, 2 shrimp (one of them still had the shell on one side), 2 very small pieces of tomato, some onion, white wine broth, the plate was oops, missing the potatoes; I didn't find about the missing potatoes until we left the restaurant and checked out the menu online and the reviews. The plates came to our table very slow and sporadic. I also ordered the rock shrimp and sweet corn chowder; which was bigger and more filling then the $17 Cioppino meal. So if you are hungry go somewhere else; if you want to pay for the ambiance and history then go here.

They are way over price for the meals they give you. The plates are so small that the kale salad was bigger then the rest of the "large" and "small" meals that we got. And we saw someone at the bar order the sliders and got 4 sliders and one person in my party got 3 when they ordered it. We also saw someone order the steak there and that was all they got on their plate was a 7 or 8 ounce steak sitting in broth for $20. The food was good, but it was completely over priced.

I attended a private party on the second floor- excellent attentive staff, great food apps and of course historic architecture. Nice Work, Cork!

I give cork three stars before, I'm moving it up to four stars now. I have sampled some of the seafood and small plates in the restaurants in other locations in New Bedford and cork stands out in New Bedford . The Taste and balance of the food offerings the friendliness of the bartenders, the Cozy setting, actually one of the best places I've seen in New Bedford. Definitely worth 4 stars. It is a little hard to get to and hard to park but a little walking will solve that problem for you. because it was overall a great place.. Great bartending staff, friendly service. Some of the entrees are delicious others are okay. Prices are up there but about normal for the area. My favorite is the scallops which are perhaps the freshest thing on the menu since the scallop boats pull in approximately 100 feet away. The place is a little hard to drive to but the valet parking solve that problem for you. This is one of my go-to places.

Absolutely delicious selection of tapas and wine. My favorites are the cheese platter and the seared tuna.
It just pays to bear in mind that tapas are never cheap.

We went there this past Friday for my birthday. 1st thing that happened we got the wrong drinks. Then the waitress brings out part of my boyfriends meal and informs me that they ran out of the flat iron special that I ordered. Now my boyfriends food is sitting there getting cold because he wants to wait to eat with me. The waitress never offered or said which would have been the right thing to do to take his meal back and have it come out together. Then the rest of the meal came out in pieces. Apparently they were having a bad night everyone around us seemed to be having the own issues. Then I hear the waitress offering free desserts to tables around us never offering it to us for our troubles not that I would have ordered anything at that point I was just disgusted and wanted to leave! I'm giving it a 3 only because of past experiences the last 2 visits have left me not wanting to go back.
