HORRIBLE SERVICE, CAN'T EVEN GET BREAD. Appetizers were cold by the time we got appetizer plates. Had to ask 3 times for enough wine glasses. Sitting here with a table full of dirty plates and haven't seen our waitress in over 15 minutes. Even asked the manager for better service and didnt help. Copeland is GREAT. This Southlake location is horrible.

Dessirae was wonderful. I placed a large to go order as well as eating in. She was on the ball and my order was perfect. I drive 19 miles each way for the good food. She made the trip worth it.

This is a couple weeks after the fact, but my family had an amazing experience here. The food was awesome but what really made the evening worthwhile was the phenomenal service. Our waitress, a young lady named Jay went above and beyond with her service. We were taking my Dad, who has advanced Alzheimer's, out to eat. No one at the table initially vocalized his condition but Jay sensed something was off pretty quickly. She was so kind, patient and made my Dad laugh several times. I hope management sees this and lets her know what an amazing job she did.
P.S. The Eggplant Pirogue is awesome!

I had the shrimp boil and I was expecting an explosion of flavors. It didn't even smell appetizing. The shrimp tasted funky, potatoes cuts where really small. My wife liked her meal very much- she had the blackened catfish. I tasted and yes it was really good. There is ton of other stuff on the menu.

I was disappointed in the service. We had a large party and the gentleman that waited on us was extremely slow and unattentive. There weren't very many people, I would have better understood if the server had several tables. Thank goodness the food was good. perhaps an isolated moment.

I'm new to the area; recently relocated from New Orleans. I was excited to try this Coplands brunch today.
Problem #1: When we arrived, we were told that there were no seats available in the dining room, but we could sit at the bar. We asked them to check again as it didn't seem very crowded. We walked back and found 4 available tables: 2 booths and 2 open tables. The hostess stated that the booths were reserved; however, there weren't any reserved signs on any of the open tables. She sat us at one of the tables.
Problem #2: When our food arrived, it was Luke warm at best.

Waitress was pleasant enough, though.

We loved Copelands! The ambiance is fantastic! It has the feel of a French restaurant with a bit of a jazz vibe as well. The food was excellent as was our waitress! We had eaten at a different location several years ago and had loved it. The menu had changed since then but she and the chef went above and beyond to combine a couple of their entree items into what I had loved eating there before! It was fantastic!

The hostesses ignored me for several minutes so our start was very poor. 1 Star Our waiter actually remembered us from our last visit a few months ago and gave us superb service. So good we tipped 50%. Thank you Michael for 5 star service. The food was very good but not quite hot enough 3.5 stars. Shrimp Ducky is my wife's favorite dish so we return every so often just for that.
The live music was enjoyable and enhanced the atmosphere. Nice.

We had the buffet on Sunday and the various shrimp and fish dishes with grits, pastas, etc were amazing. There was also breakfast foods and hot white chocolate bread pudding (and other desserts). Our waiter was extremely kind and helpful. We had a great experience.

My husband was so excited about going to this restaurant. We drove all the way from Ft. WORTH to go here. I was really hoping to get some good Louisiana seafood. I wasted my calories and it was a big disappointment.

Our waiter was really nice 5 stars to him! The best thing i had that night was the sweat tea and the small mints at the counter on the way out of that camp! I would have done better just going to Popeyes and ordering red beans and rice.
