Great bike shop that has been in Wichita for many years. I remember shopping at a location they had on the east side of Wichita in the early 1990s. Nice and knowledgeable staff that are simply passionate about bike riding. Pretty decent prices. A lot of these bike shops have super fancy, carbon frames and the like for over $1k to $3k. I'm looking for simple recreation for my family so good quality, durable bikes at a lower price point are important to me. Continental Cyclery has some nice entry level bikes that serve this purpose.

Whether you want to fix up your old bike or buy a new one, go see Nathan Jung at Continental Cyclery. After a year of daily fitness riding, my trusty old Trek 820 had a broken pedal and was skipping gears. Nathan took a look and told me up front that the cost of the needed repairs were going to approach half the cost of a new bike. He expertly fitted me with a great new Specialized Crosstrail, but I decided to have him upgrade and repair my Trek. With new sprockets, hubs, pedals and chain it rides and shifts better than new. So I'm a little biased as the son of the owner, but I used to work there and I have to say my dad was always honest with customers about everything. We always provided great free followup service to bicycles (6 months was what it used to be). We never overcharged for any repairs and often did extra things to get the bike going for free. Nathan also makes sure you leave with your bike in safe condition, and enjoyable to ride, as best he possibly can. I cannot speak highly enough about purchasing from here. You will be happy!
