One of my favorite places in the Hocking hills area. It's a beautiful walk with the family. You can take a stroller most of the way, but will need to leave it for the last part to see the waterfall.

One of my favorite places in hocking hills. Beautiful year round. A good portion of the trail has a good path for stroller or wheel chair. But you reach a point where it is dirt and more for hiking. Has a bathroom that is like a port a potty by the trail entrance. Also has restrooms but those seem to be closed whenever I am there. Truly stunning scenery. There never seems to be many people whenever I go.

One of the best parks/preserve in the area. The rim trail is spectacular but can be strenuous. The short gorge trail is a flat sidewalk- most popular and fabulous as well.

Bathrooms well maintained, decent amount of parking, no dogs on trail. Zero cell service so have directions to get out before getting there. Trail pretty well maintained with good overlooks. Overgrowth at the waterfall of rim trail

The lower trail is a fun, easy trail with a nice waterfall at the end. The upper rim trail is awesome. It feels like you've left Ohio and at times. There are some huge dropoffs so it's probably not great for small children who don't listen. There are some great overlooks and lots of rocky cliffs

The biggest problem with this place is dogs are not allowed on the trails! If you go here and like to hike then take the rim trail go up the stairs to the right or the stairs to the left the walk down the sidewalk through the middle is just exactly that a flat concrete sidewalk down through the middle and straight back on the straight path. The rim trail is a better hike

Gorge trail is nice, paved path good for little kids. The rim path is more of a challenge, would not recommend that path for little kids but is a good day hike for teenagers and up

Did the upper rim today with my husband, what a wonderful hike. The views are amazing. I look forward to returning in the fall!

This trail was gorgeous. Just a short drive from Old Man's Cave, which is super crowded in nice weather. This was not overrun with big families and pets-- it was peaceful and fun. Some of the trail was challenging for a novice hiker, but doable and beautiful. Would recommend to anyone who makes a trip out to the area!

Super nice area and easy hike for the family. Main trail to the water fall is paved most of the way making it super family friendly.

Beautiful, peaceful area. There's a sign that says no pets there for some reason. I don't know why, but I did see people with pets and no one complained about it. I would assume if you clean up after them no one would honestly care. This area is easily accessible for the most part. A very short, flat walk to the end. At the very end you might need to cross over a stream depending on water levels. People have put rocks in the stream for you to cross over on but it might be helpful to have a stick for balance. Go all the way to the end and there is usually a little waterfall. It's just past where you cross the stream. Hard to see the waterfall unless you go across.

SO GORGEOUS. What an amazing hike. I am sure to come back again. I will not say too much so that I don't give any of it away, but gosh dang it was an amazing and beautiful time.

A beautiful place for a hike. The rim trail is not for young children. Most of the trail is on the edge of steep cliffs. The gorge trail is easy and paved. It's about a 3.5mi hike to do both.

Lovely spot to visit. Did both the gorge and the rim trails. The gorge trail is brief, and we saw lots of fellow walkers along the way. Fun to see the sandstone formations up close, and enjoy the cliffs towering above you. The rim trail is a more substantial hike, with a steep climb to start off, and then a sometimes rocky but relatively level walk around the rim. The east side affords the better views of the area overall, looking down and across at a broad landscape of trees and cliffs. The west side is greener and mostly covered by trees, but has some awesome views of cliffs covered with moss and ferns, and the gorge below.
