My wife and I hired Concrete Pros for our 20x20 backyard patio. The team made the experience joyful and easy. Professional, informative and courteous to our needs and the final product exceeded our expectations. Thank you Chris and your team for a job well done!

I just got through reading a one star review on this company and in the real world people don’t write a one star review five years later. It really makes me think? My experience with this company is totally opposite. I was a lucky man this year, my wife decided to surprise me with my own triple layer stamped concrete patio! When Chris came out to give us an estimate on the project he was very professional and gave us some great ideas. He was upfront about any possible issues when dealing with concrete in Michigan. The project involved removing an improperly poured raised concreate patio which was attached to a five and half foot deep pond. This pond was nothing but an eye sore and a mosquito haven. To be honest it was way too big of a job for me, so I put it off year after year. This is where a one star review doesn’t make sense and I can back this up with 18yrs as a United States Navy Seabee. I have two deployments to Iraq and in my career I have been directly involved with over 100 plus concrete projects. I even received an Army Achievement Award for assisting the U.S Army on three 20,000 sq. ft. pours at Al-Asad Airbase while serving in Northern Iraq in 2008. When the project started the Crew Leader Jesus showed up on time and ready to work. It took me less the five minutes to see that he truly has a gift. His crew got to work right away removing my old stinky pond and worked with precision. There was not much talking they all worked as a team and took care of an issue I’ve had for over five years in one day. There was no rush and Jesus even told me it’s all up to you. The project took three days and was completed April 7, 2021, Well guess what the next day it rained and everything was perfectly pitched! I could tell they know what they’re doing. When you take your car to a mechanic you trust they will fix your car and they do. When you’re dealing with stamped concrete it is a true art and you need to let these guys do what they do. This company is a hardworking group of guys and I am proud I hired them. Everything from grading to tampering as well as rebar they go above the industry standard. I’m so impressed with this job. Thanks again and God bless you guys. Do yourself a favor and make the decision yourself. Just trust in Jesus!!!! You will not be disappointed… They earned every one of the five stars!!!!

I had patios and sidewalks done by this contractor. Wouldn't recommend them.
    Some of the issues experienced:
    1) Damaged my driveway with skidsteer.
    2) Damage my aluminum trim on the bottom of my patio door while pulling out wood forms.
    3) While staining the cement, got the powder on my patio doors and didnt wash it all off. Over sprayer sealer onto the house. This could have all been avoided had they just mask the areas with tape, cardboard and/or drop cloth.
    4) I have a long crack in my sidewalk that developed soon after the job was complete which I believe is due to poor subgrade preparation. The subgrade was done in a rush and not compacted well due to cement arriving the next day.
    5) Steel rebar reinforcement should be in the middle layer of the cement which was not the case for my job.
    6) The side or front face of my raised patio was to have a brick pattern using a mold form. Part of the pattern was a rough face from using a plain wood form. I didnt see this until after the cement was cured and forms were being pulled off. When I asked them why, their response was they ran out of forms. I told them that they should have communicated this to me instead of making a unilateral decision.

I am an actual past customer. Contract# 08272016. I have attached a couple of photos to show your mistakes are real and true.
So there is no mistake or I am not a competitor. I published this review at 11:30pm. While researching a new cement job I want done, I came across your business so I decided to publish my experience. I find it odd and strange that you responded within a few hours which was about 2-3am which is in the middle of the night. I realize you are trying to protect your reputation but making false assumptions and untrue comments is not the way to respond to a review. A simple "Can you give us more info about your job so we can investigate" would have been a more professional approach rather than making false assumptions.

2nd response to Concrete Pros, LLC comments:

The lack of sealing has nothing to do with damaging the aluminum trim, not using brick face mold or damaging the driveway. Please don't go off on a clear tangent and address an entirely different issue. The crack you are now talking about occurred in less than a year when the concrete was initially sealed by you. The crack is simply due to poor subgrade preparation and I'm sure the steel reinforcement placed at the bottom of the cement rather than the middle layer may have contributed to the issue. The old cement patio you removed which was there for 16 years had 1 fine crack. When you removed it the subgrade underneath was perfect with no settling. Cracking of cement in less than a year is a workmanship issue and maybe even the quality of product you provided. In the future, try to put more effort in workmanship and little less focus on the money side.

If you hire this company, make sure you get every detail in writing with clear expectations to be met and that all expectations are met before final payment. You are more likely to avoid disappointment.

I met with Chris over a year ago for a very large cement job. I instantly knew that he/Concrete Pros LLC was exactly who I wanted to do our cement work. We have had other companies out for estimates, prior to Chris, which were way and I mean way out of our targeted budget. Chris answered every single one of my text/calls, no matter how small it may have been for him, he knew it was a big deal for me, and these text/calls went on from the time I met Chris in June of 2019 up until, well actually today 9/21/20.
Chris, Jesus and their crew, which consisted of all family (I loved this mostly), were all friendly, professional, here when they said they'd be, very hard working, respectful to my home, and took pride in the work they were doing. I will pass their company name, Concrete Pros LLC. on for as long as they're in business.
The pictures I have posted are just a reflection of the work done but honestly do not give justice to the sheer beauty they have created in my yard.
Thank you Chris, Jesus and your entire crew for a job well done!!!

Concrete Pros did a fantastic job on our patio. The crew worked extremely well together, the cost was competitive / reasonable, they started the patio work on time as promised and addressed our questions / concerns immediately. We are thrilled with the new look of our patio. Now I just need to repair siding, add steps to the above ground pool, etc.
