I have been going to compassion Christian Church for 13 years. Love it. I have volunteered in the children's ministry, small group team, and prep team, and just love my church. Made some great friends and so has my family. This is where I feel at home.

New comer to the church..Like my Life Grouplooking to experience different volunteer opportunities make lasting friendships. At the East Campus I sat next to a lady who clearly moved to the edge of her seat when I sat down. Not sure what that was all about ( I did shower and was friendly by smiling..LOL!) but if thats the worst of it thats fine. The Pastor said I CAN'T BUT HE CANrepeat this everyday even several times a day.

i enjoyed the service but felt it was rushed. My boyfriend and I wanted to be prayed for to rededicate our lives but you had to wait in line and by the time we made it down there, the line was cut off and they went to another part of the service. We were told that they were on a timed schedule. A timed schedule to be prayed for? We went there because he actually helped build the church and we were presently looking for a church to go to together. We also filled out a card to be contacted as new members and no one ever called us. It just seemed very commercialized and unpersonal. The music is nice thou, and the sermon was great. I reached out on facebook as well, and i was told that you are on a timed schedule and that is the way the church worksif i did not know christ, and wanted too, i would have been very dissapointed in what i experienced.

My first visit to the Henderson campus was 7-17-16. At first I was over whelmed. I went yesterday and felt very comfortable. Everyone there is super nice and you can feel the love in the church. I could sit and listen to Cam preach for hours!! I have been looking for a church for 5 years to attend and I have found the right one. I'm so excited to see what God has in store for me!! I'm so excited to join a group at the church so I can meet new people and become involved in the church. I hope whomever reads my post can tell I'm super excited about Savannah Christian Church!! 😀

I had gone to the same church for over 60 years. I had many friends there, taught a ladies Sunday school class and really didn't want to leave but I knew It was time for a change. My daughter and her family joined Savannah Christian and loved it so I thought I would try it.

I joined a small group Bible study and met the East Campus Pastor. He was such a friendly, welcoming person and before the evening was over I felt I had known him for years. I have since joined a great ladies group that meets on Wednesday nights.

When I attended my first worship service , I listened intently and did not want it to end.

My husband still meets with his Bible study and prayer group on Sunday morning and then joins me at Henderson.

Rate?. I am blessed, enlightened, challenged and uplifted when I leave.
