CTK- Christ Renews His Parish Retreat. BE WARNED!! They will invade your privacy by 'surprising' you with letters from people you know, that they printed out and enveloped themselves. They get these by calling your emergency contact and asking for contact information of your friends and family. They then contact those people, tell them you are on a religious retreat, and ask them to write you a personal letter. The purpose of this is to create a fraudulent spiritual experience through emotional manipulation. This is an independent retreat run by church busy bodies and has nothing to do with being Catholic. You can google and find complaints about this retreat from other parishes around the US. I never even received an apology from CTK, nor was there any sense of wrong doing expressed at the invasion of my privacy without my permission, or knowledge. They will tell you nothing about the details of this retreat. Never would I have expected something like this. I have done many retreats and was never 'surprised' with a bag of letters from people I know, who as far as I was concerned didn't even know I was there, nor did I want to hear from.

I tried posting a review on their Facebook page, but they keep deleting it. You are only allowed to give CRHP good reviews, so will only ever get to hear from the CRHP busy body moonies. They will also try to suck you into planning the next retreat for the next year through constant guilt trips, sucking up your weekends to keep the program going, especially for the women's retreat. That alone tells you something, being that it is so supposedly life changing and awesome. If they have run out of space for the one or two retreats they have a year, it's because they ran out of space in he kindergarten classroom they make you sleep in overnight. That's kiddie size room for about 5000 parishioners. You will spend the weekend listening to 'personal stories', creating 6th grade posters and kiddie skits for the rest of the group, and then they try to get you to share personal things with complete strangers. Like I said, I have done many religious retreats at the Monastery in Conyers, and others, and this was the worst example of a 'retreat' I've ever experienced. It is very Jr. High. at best, and incredibly manipulative and personally invasive at worst. You will be treated like some kind of troll by the moonines for not acting like this is the best thing you have ever experienced in your whole life. Those people just don't come back --because good luck being heard complaining to anyone at the Cathedral, or the Archdiosese. There are other places that no longer allow this 'retreat' to be advertised because of its tactics and complaints. CTK should be ashamed.

What a GORGEOUS Cathedral!!!

I came here for my cousin's wedding and it went very well!!!
We had a full mass for her wedding!!
It was a night wedding and the weather was wonderful!!

CtK is, by far, the most welcoming Catholic church in Atlanta, if not the South! I joined in 1999 when Father Morrow was quite active. Both of my daughters were christened by him. To this day, he is still involved, warm, inviting and all masses are deeply fulfilling.

Do not miss the opportunity to engage with Christ, the King at Christ the King! You will not be let down!

Wonderful, welcoming parish and dedicated staff. The services are awe inspiring. Arrive at least 5 minutes early if you would like to sit at the popular masses (Sat. 4PM, 9 AM and 10:30 AM)

Have been a parishioner for years, but due to Fr. Morrow, will never go back to the Cathedral, if any Catholic Church. Parked in the space reserved for the Archbishop at the direction of one of the off-duty officers who was obviously aware the Archbishop was not going to be needing it at that time. My handicapped permit was appropriately displayed. Fr. Morrow was standing near my car after mass, clearly waiting to "catch" whomever dared to park in the Archbishop's space. As soon as I entered my car, he pounced and very rudely told me this space was reserved. I advised that the officer told me to park here. He shouted that the officer "was wrong." I suggested he yell at the officer instead, and he dismissed me with a wave of his hand. Seems he is only comfortable bullying older women who walk with the assistance of a cane. The same message could easily have been delivered in a civil manner.
