Always friendly with a relaxed atmosphere, prices are very reasonable.

OK, I see a lot of 5 stars on this site so I thought I'd give it a go. Not too many veterinary options in the high desert and since I moved up from the low desert and didn't want to trek down to my vet in La Quinta. First appointment, waited in the lobby with my anxious dog for 45 minutes. (all I wanted was rabies vaccination and nails trimmed) Finally saw the vet, who seemed knowledgeable and friendly, she felt my dog needed some Xanax before cutting his nails to make it less traumatic (he hates his nails cut) so I got the prescription, made a second appointment and followed the vets instructions by giving my dog the Xanax one hour before appointment. Got to the clinic, dog seemed a little more mellow, waited 20 minutes (still mellow), waited, 30 minutes (dogs getting a little more excited), waited 45 minutes (the effects of the meds are obviously wearing off), waited 1 hour, (see ya!). I get it, its busy, but don't make me wait an hour without any line of communication. You obviously don't need the business since you have the monopoly on pet care in Yucca Valley. I'll be driving to my vet in the low desert from now on.

Very caring staff and fantastic at explaining everything in plain English without ever talking down to you. I had my dog neutered here and received a phone call with updates as soon as the surgery was completed letting me know how he did, how he was after, and everything that had been done. Dr. Colburn even followed up on an issue I had him seen for on an emergent basis 2 weeks earlier and provided additional information on how he was doing from that since the medications had been given. This is the only vet I've ever had where my pet is actually excited to go in because of all the love and attention he gets. Thank you Dr.Colburn and everyone else at Companion for the phenomenal service!

The vets and staff are professional, kind, competent and friendly. They helped my family of animals for over 10 years before I moved away from the area. ALL of them have gone out of their way to help my animals at one time or another. Even though I've found a good vet clinic where I live, I miss Companion. They were like family.

i have had only good experiences with companion animal clinic. we have been seen by several different doctors over the past 8 years, and have been pleased with all of them. they have always been compassionate and caring, and have restored several of my dogs to health.

This is an amazing office with professional and caring vets and staff. Dr. Colburn was absolutely amazing with our little Jack Russell that needed to have a mast tumor removed. She patiently explained everything, both before and after the surgery. We've had many pets, and been to many vet offices, and we have to say that this is hands down the very best.
