Great lanes with good staff and open 24 hrs YEAR-LONG. Ample parking.
Pro-tip : The bar/restaurant has great staff, pretty good bar food and lots of games.
The Palace is in need of an overhaul for sure. Now i know it's a bowling alley but this was the place to go when i was younger. Renovate this place and make it presentable. The ceiling tiles look like they have been up there since smoking allowed inside businesses. I expect better from here.
This is the greatest place to bowl if you are really good at it. It is better than Wanye Webb’s Columbus Bowl because everyone there is really awesome #goat
I've always been a fan of the Columbus Square Bowling Palace. Truly feel it is the number one stop for all your bowling needs in Central Ohio. With it's 24 hour hours, it really is a great place to hang out with your family and friends. Used to come here as a kid alot and it was always a great time. While I am not a really good bowler per say, I would really like to improve my skills possibly. I've eaten at the kitchen/restaurant numerous times and it has always been good since I tend to eat quite a bit. And the bar is an interesting place as well with alot of great people. The bathrooms are also very clean always and that's a major plus for all places in this day and age. The General Manager John is a really nice guy and he really makes bowling in Central Ohio a great activity for pretty much anyone and everyone regardless of their skill level. Really hope to do business with this company in the future on a variety of levels.
Great atmosphere. I just wish there music was better. Went a Saturday night, it was about 9$ for shoes and a game They don't have hour plays:( . But not to bad for a game I guess.
Needed to kill an hour so we stopped in. Attendants were all helpful. Seemed pretty clean. Had to pay an atm few as the vending machine that sold socks only took cash. Arcade games had a pretty wide variety.
I visited here twice last week. Both times there were multiple issues-rails not coming up & not going down both times, scoring added one bowler's score to another bowlers, intercom to desk didn't work either time. Limited number of kids' balls with holes big enough for young kids' fingers. Employees apologize for the lack of properly working lanes, but management needs to take action & fix stuff. It is a long walk to the desk when they stick you way at the end of the place & you have small kids with you especially. In a total of 3 games we had 6 issues to contend with-this is not good at all and required 6 long trips up to the desk! They should offer refunds for such games! BTW, one employee was pretty rough around the edges which was a little scary.
Great lanes with unbeatable open bowling prices. There's a decent beer selection with awesome bartenders. The customer service is pretty solid, not the best but nothing to complain about.
I've had the pleasure of coming here several times. I still can't believe its open 24/7. If you love to bowl this is the biggest bowling ally in Columbus. Don't get food here its a bit over priced, just hang out get drinks and bowl.
Poor service. Employees were very rude. Games weren't working properly and many were broken. I definitely won't be coming back.
I took 3 of my kids to bowl 2 games That's 2 games for 4 people. Halfway through our second game, the screen says your game is over. They said they charged me for 6 games and not 8 games. They wanted another $12 in order to finish our game. Not only will I never be back, but how do you give me 4 pairs of shoes, and then tell me I only paid for 3 people. I'm good on this place.
Very nice Bowling alley. Lanes are in good condition. They have specials on weekdays. Nice place to chill and roll a few balls. One drawback is it feels like they are understaffed. It is impossible to find a clear table on a Saturday night.
