If you are planning a company holiday party, I would go elsewhere. Our reservation was at 7 pm for 20. We were not served until after 9 pm. During that 2 hour period, service was non-existent. Drinks were empty. Walking through the restaurant to find a waitress, I observed a fairly empty restaurant.
Our menu was limited to 5 items, so you might think they chose dishes they prepare well for large groups, right? I had lobster stuffed cod. The cod was tasteless, rubbery and very tiny. Maybe 4 oz. Plus, by the time we ate, everyone was exhausted and would have rather gone home to bed.
Poor service is what you receive when the gratuity is already added and management doesn't care whether or not you come back.response / report this review -

I went to dinner with my daughter (and son in law) for her birthday on a Tuesday night and had a not so pleasant experience which is not usual for this restaurant. I specifically told them I could not have sesame seeds on my dish and when they finally brought out our food, my plate was missing and the server said they forgot to leave off the sesame seed and needed to remake my dinner. Less than 5 minutes later they brought out my bacon wrapped shrimp which I proceeded to eat and noticed the bacon was practically raw. The mgr came out to apologize and said he wouldn't charge us for my shrimp (which is the least I would expect) and then awkwardly said what else can I do for you. Honestly he should have been telling me what he would do for me to make our experience better. I didn't want to make a big deal since it was my daughter's birthday and just left it at that. He should have offered to comp my entire meal or give me a coupon to come back later. Besides the fact that I could've gotten extremely ill eating raw bacon, it just was a weird and awkward experience. He didn't know how to make things better and seemed so scared to even be talking to us. The restaurant was practically empty so it wasn't like they had a ton of orders going through the kitchen. Just a bad way to wrap up my daughter's biethday.

Slow service, muscles were the smallest I ever had, and 17$ for the swordfish which came out as a 4oz. filet, literally had more vegetables on my plate than fish. Won't be back

Otherwise known as Mitchell's Fish Market, it has the same high quality that one can expect from this chain. Fresh fish, upscale atmosphere, quality service. We arrived just in time for a great happy hour.that was an unexpected surprise! I love the crabcakes. Overall, we had a great meal and great experience here.

Not sure what happened to this place. We have been coming here for over 10 years. It used to be one of the more consistently enjoyable dining experiences in Columbus. However, our last experience was terrible. It should have been a clue when the cocktails took 20 minutes to arrive, and more than 1/2 hour for an appetizer plate of oysters. Our server was totally unfamiliar with the menu and we had to ask for someone to find her to inquire when our meals would be ready It was nearly an hour before the entrees were served. 2 of the four plates were cold and the tastes were very bland. I was embarrassed to have brought family from New Your City here for dinner. When I asked to see the manager I was told she was out and would be back later. This will our last visit to Columbus Fish Market.

The personnel were wonderful! They went above and beyond to make our night perfect! I had the filet Oscar style and it was amazing. My husband had the seafood plus and he said it was the best meal he's ever had. Highly recommend and we will come back for sure!!
