Terrible at picking up calls, sending out information, and staying accountable. They are non-transparent and untrustworthy in attempt to further damage people's standings instead of disseminating the necessary information. The website is a name-of-the-rose set up and intentionally hard to navigate. Offices open late and close early, and Columbia County Circuit Court staff are rude and unprofessional once you finally get a hold of someone. I could go on and on about how insanely bureaucratic and impersonal this court is, but for those of you who've actually dealt with them, I'm sure you already know. If you are paying a fine, forget expecting these people to give you a receipt or even a paper copy of the bill in the mail. There is no online system either. It's like they blindfold you and hand you a house key 100 miles from home, then punish for your lack of expedience. Good luck lol..
