Not a dusty, musty indoor only museum. Lots of outdoor exhibits and all free!

Can't complain about free admission. It's a fun place to visit and kill some time. Kids love it.

We have been going to this museum for years because they have lectures on Florida subjects at least weekly. Sometimes the museum staff is supplemented by guest lecturers. Always learn something. See the schedule online. The museum has a 5 acres of interesting exhibits including an old locomotive, a swamp buggy, a boat from the Keewaydin olden days, a taxidermy display and much more. Indoor has a display on old Florida. Well worth a visit and it is free.
