I have been employed at the Club Monaco in the prudential center since Black Friday as a seasonal employee and asked to stay on as a PT support role because I was extremely happy with the staff and management. The managers always gave me the time I needed if I had a concern with something in the store or felt like I needed more training.

I also know the DM and one of the reasons people have been employed at the same retailers as her is because of the way she leads. She is a fair and generous leader and these specific managers ask to continue to work with her because of her management style.

Although ALL CM locations are a great place to work I HIGHLY recommend working at this location because of everyone that works there! Everyone works well together and it is almost like a small family. We are all really hard workers and management thanks us and recognizes us for it!

    HIGHLY recommend not working here.

3 stars for shopping, 1 star for employment.

Management at the Prudential store creates a very toxic environment. Working full time, I saw lack of communication and a very strange "Us VS. You" mentally with their mostly college-aged employees. Pay is low and stress is high.

Management blamed their store insufficiencies on the employees because new hires were not trained properly or screened. Sales are made only due to location and wealth of the surrounding neighborhood.

Weekly schedules were sent out the day before, as opposed to the two weeks in advance they are supposed to be sent. Some employees did not receive pay for 2+ months because they weren't put into the payroll system correctly.

They hire management on a friends-basis, rather than skills. Their regional manager and some of the store managers were all transferred from one PacSun store, which explains how the store's issues are slid under a rug.

Ask other retailers in the area, as well as Corporate Club, and they will not recommend this store either. If you want to work at a Club Monaco in Boston, ask about the Cambridge store instead!
