So we can start with the food. Pretty decent.
The place is a logistical nightmare. I have never seen a worse run establishment. Restaurant was 25% full, yet we waited at the stand for almost 15 min as three women just fumbled through who knows what. Then my credit card was lost and even though they later told me they located it, the manager lost it again. This is after I biked back over there and waited for 20 min as this incompetent team attempted to locate it (and at one point completely forgot who I was and what they were looking for).
    STAY AWAY!

We live in SB. This was our first visit to Chuck's at the Waterfront. They must have been very busy because it took about one hour to get our food. And when the food arrived, the veggies were as hard as a rock, not edible. My halibut was delicious and my daughter's hawaiian chicken was over cooked and her rice was hard and undercooked. The guys had the steak sandwich, which they enjoyed. The scenery was beautiful overlooking the harbor, but the prices for the food was ridiculous! The service was okay, but when it came to pay the bill, we showed up with to gift certificates, which the staff when we phoned, indicated that they would honor at both Chuck's. The manager at the Waterfront didn't want to take our gift certificates and wasn't very professional. In turn, they did take our form of payment, but I wouldn't go back. There are too many other restaurants in SB with better food and better or similar prices.

Ate here with the family after visiting the Maritime museum next door. The food was great. The kids even enjoyed it and they can be hard to please. It was pleasant and peaceful sitting outside.

We had been to Chucks once before and it was good. Just this weekend , we went to Santa Barbara and decided to try it again. I ordered the seafood pasta , not totally happy with ordering it because it wasn't what I had in mind. This was the most incredible, flavor filled, delicious seafood pasta I have ever eaten. The fish was fabulous but add the pasta with the sauce was incredible. It had just the right amount of spice too. Highly recommend to seafood lovers !!!

Always a good time with the family, when they're in town that is. If they visited us more we'd be at chucks more. They love it and I like the ambience.
