Came in looking for a specific car. A simple no works if you don't have it. What kind of customer service spends time trying to convince me that I don't want what I asked for and for questioning why I want a specific car? Incredibly unprofessional and comparing it to when we bought back in 2011, night and day. You will never get business by insulting a customer.
I've have had my car serviced at this dealership for the life of my 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. I buy a contract for 4 oil changes and that includes tire rotation from time to time and 2 car washes. Most of the time they do okay with the oil changes. The only times that I've let them wash the car it took H-O-U-R-S, literally. And it wasn't a particularly good job either. But it's convenient. Today, however, they sunk to a new low. I took my vehicle in because the check engine light came on. It was approximately 7:45 am. We'll know something by 9am I was told. So I am having lunch and get a call about 12:15pm. The PCM regulator needs to be updated and there is a recall to be taken care of. You'll have it in a couple of hours, I was told. Two and a half hours later I have my wife drive me back to the dealership to pick it up. But my service rep is on lunch. Another guy checks and says it's not ready. I walk inside and call to ask for the manager. I speak with a pleasant lady who puts me on hold for ten minuites or so. Then she informs me that the car must be drive tested to make sure the fix is in. That won't happen until tomorrow morning I'm told. ALL DAY without my car. They are short of techs I'm told. Could I speak to the manager I asked. Well he's out moving cars around on the lot. They are very short handed, I"m told. So.. at best they are real bad at communication. I could have been told that they wouldn't get to it today. It was most definitely driveable. At worst they are simply inept or too cheap to hire enough help and are happy to stonewall me. Guess who's not a happy camper. Me. And a quick update. Moments after getting home and starting this bad review I get a call that my vehicle is ready. This, in my opinion, doesn't make it better but worse. Sort of tells me they could have had this done in 30 minutes this morning. I don't care how many cars they had to work on today. When I get there early with something as minor as this I think it's reasonable to expect to have it back by lunch. I expect BS from the service reps but this seems just bad business to me.
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT !!!
I wish I could give it less than 1 star! First we were told that they honor the Austal discount by three different people and they don't. Second, they are advertising up to $5,000 off ALL the Jeep Wrangler unlimited and that's not true either .It's "ONLY" on the special wheel package, but that's not what it said. Third , we were told that they had several of the Wranglers we were looking for and of course that was a lie. The sales guy kept showing me jeeps that I would never buy. We told him what we were looking for and than he said well we found one in metairie,La., I said I want to see pics and he acted like it was a huge inconvenience to him. So he pulled up the pics and I said it doesn't have power windows ? He than said "oh, you want the power package?" UUUMMMMM yeah, how many times do I have to keep telling you what I want ? He clearly wasn't hearing me. And when I asked if it has auto headlights? He tells me no, jeeps don't come with auto headlights. UUUMMMM that's a lie as well. I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER shop at this dealership or tell anyone to shop here either. And lastly, they tried to low ball me on my trade, under kelly blue book value, we drove almost an hour to this dealership based on what they told us, it was a waste of 4 HOURS!!! They gave us the Ol' Bait and switch game. Sad, just sad.
The only reason I give it two stars is because the customer service from the guy who I first felt with was great. Other than that, my experience was horrible. I set an appointment so that way I would have my time booked so I could get my jeep back in time. I dropped it off on time and he said it should take about two hours. I called two hours later and they said they had not even gotten to my jeep yet. I called before they closed and they said they will have to keep it overnight and it would be done by 9 AM. I called at 10 AM and no one knew what the status of my jeep was. I finally got my jeep 24 hours later and it was drivin worse than it was before. horrible service and a waste of time.
This a nice dealership with a great staff. I bring my Challenger here for oil changes and they have been fast. Sales staff is very friendly and not pushy at all.
Outstanding service. My family and I were returning from a trip from Nola back to FL. Sat the 25 the and broke down on i-10
I got a tow back to Chris myers dodge auto service, and was back on the road in less than 2 hrs. Great Job at a reasonable price..Thank you vicki, Jayson and the rest of the myers pit crew.
i would not recommend purchasing from the jeep place in particular, idk about the other chris myers places. I had a found a vehicle online and drove a few hours to get to this place; however, when i arrived and was checking the vehicle out the price online with pictures including upgrades and the sticker price was about a 6k difference. in the decription online it listed all the upgrades as included which it seems they try to spring it on the buyer once they find the vehicle they want. Rather misleading i thought. In addition, my salesman was npt too interested in answering questions and was a total dick during the test drives. I was expecting to be able to get the vehicle atleast up to a highway speed to actually see how it handled but was only allowed to drive backroads with stops signs, not reaching over 35 mph. This place does not have clear pricing and the salesman i had does not know anything really about the vehicle i was looking at. Their wrangler sports have rubicon pricing and the salesman telling me every wrangler out there were rubicons when they clearly said sport was rather annoying. This salesman also told me the difference between a sport and a rubicon is a rubi has power windows and locks and a sport does not, which anyone who has ever had a jeep knows this is not true by a long shot. I was very disappointed with my experience here and do not plan to return. I really liked the jeep i was looking at but cant see myself driving all the way there for another bad experience. Maybe this place should receive some education on customer service, business ethics, and manners and it just might do better.
Multiple return customer due to the excellent service when buying! Not pushy, great deals!
I have purchased a few cars and trucks from Chris Myers over the years. I have never had a bad experience on the sales side, it has always been average. Service however is a completely different story. I have yet to have an average experience, much less a good one, in service. My service experiences are always bad - terrible in fact. I am not talking about major services, they have yet to provide me with an average experience on simple things like oil changes. After a terrible experience I always get mad and don't go back for a year or so. Then I give them another shot only to get screwed again. Today I took my Ram 2500 in for its first service (new truck). I booked an 8:30 AM service appointment, but dropped the truck off at 7:30 AM. I showed up to pick the truck up at 4:35 PM and they haven't even started on it. They told me to give them an hour and that they would not be able to wash it. Are you kidding me? Last time they had my Jeep two days and didn't bother to tell me they needed to keep it overnight until I showed up at 5 to pick it up (it was the second time they had attempted to stop the 2014 JKU from leaking) . They have terrible communication skills and I just don't feel like they care. What is the point of scheduling service if it doesn't mean anything? They always have an excuse but never improve or do anything to make things right. After today I am never going back, this is like the 4th bad service experience in a row. I am sure they don't care but I can't continue to condone such terrible customer service. From here on out I will be inconvenienced with a longer drive to have my RAM serviced at an out of market dealership. I advise you to take your business elsewhere unless you like being treated poorly.
