Typical Chinese/American food buffet, but what really sets this place apart from others is their grill. You bring up raw meat, veggies, and rice for them to cook right in front of you , its a nice touch and it taste good as well.
The food and the atmosphere is really nice and pleasant. Just wish the staff didn't have such a big language barrier.
75% of the food was cold they used Too Much vegetable oil like open your mouth and here's a teaspoon of oil. Crab ragoon was extra sweet and mostly cream cheese, where's the crab? The coconut shrimp was too sweet and where's the coconut. And here's a picture of the plastic bag that was in the mac and cheese. Won't b back!
Server Nicole did not greet us upon arrival she chose to talk with her friends in the corner while we waited and starred at her! There are 5 tables and about 5 servers and no one to wait on us? Unacceptable! They thought it was funny and then began to speak their language! I refused to let her get us our drinks because at this time I no longer trust them!!! I got my daughters and my drinks and waited on myself! This will be our last time coming to one of our favorite spots!! RIP CHINATOWN!!!
This is the best Chinese buffet I have been to. I've been to buffet in the DC area, but this one is awesome. Clean as a whistle! Food always replenished and fresh. Prices very good. GREAT sushi bar!
Food just ok. Not the greatest. Good service.
Very satisfied with the food good way to fix your seafood craving at decent price! No complaints
Service is always great. The food though. Oh my goodness not much good to say. The shrimp were overcooked. All the pans of food had grease. One end of the food table was cold. No variety or creativity with the sushi. So much fried food and the vegetables were few and far between. And the few were extremely over cooked. I have been here 3 times on three different nights of the week. And we'll strike three. Now I let everyone know. Don't waste your hard earned 💰
Unexpected pleasure! We stopped at a buffet and got a restaurant with great food and menu. The service was out of this world, and our party of 15 including 8 children under 7 were very well taken care of. Nicole was our server and was incredible with the children. We will be back!
I love this buffet! The staff gives excellent customer service, the food is fantastic, and it is very clean! So many different food options that will please any appetite! I wish they had a restaurant in Delaware! It is definitely worth the ride!
I' be always like comming in they many items to choose from BUT WITH THE MUSICAL CHOICE????? I am really not wanting to listen to HARD ROCK and some TEX MUSIC WHILE IAM TRYING TOO EAT and TALK TO MY MEAL COMPANY.!!! RETHINK THE MUSIC CHOICE - PLEASE !!!
Best Chinese buffet I've found on the Eastern Shore, and I'm super picky. Has pretty much anything you're in the mood for. All you can eat Hibachi, sushi, standard buffet items, stone crabs, crab legs (and lots of them..unlike many places that only put out a few and watch the patrons fight over them). Just so many options. Nice atmosphere.
Here is the ONLY chinese place to go to in Salisbury! Food is warm, friendly service, sushi is amazing. NO BUGS like the flaming grill up the road. I stopped going to Flaming grill because of bad service, dirty tables and seats, bugs and cold food. Never been disappointed here. Screw that other terrible place.
I've been coming here since I was about six years old. I have seen this restaurant as a narrow building with a minimal selection of great, authentic Chinese and American food; to a wide-open, modern eating establishment. On top of the great food, its an even better feeling when you can feed two at lunch for about 20$. I would recommend Chinatown Buffet to anyone at any time.
Today I was there with my family. At first we were impressed by the variety of food and the service was good. Until the crab legs came out. The male oriental waiter Andy came over and said the crab legs were for the dinner guest. When we arrived it was the dinner hour. Andy said we were there for lunch. Dinner starts at 3:30pm. He said we arrived and seated at 3:29:30pm. I told him to put us at the dinner rate so that my family can enjoy the crab legs. But he took the three plates away from my daughters. Two of the plates had the crab legs and other food on it, the third plate had just crab legs. Then he brought over the check. I paid the tab and went to report what happened to the manager which Andy said was not there. I will be contacting the senior manager tomorrow. I honestly thought we had found a place to enjoy good food at a great price. But I do not want to go to a place where they treat you like a criminal. And I still gave a tip just to show I'm the bigger person.
