  We recently had Chimney Sweeps of America install two fireplaces in our homes. Prior to contacting them we were overwhelmed with how complex the project was going to be and didn’t trust a general contractor to do the work as it involves gas. Mark and his team were absolutely phenomenal! They walked me through each step of the project and could answer every one of my questions. They provided a lot of advice around the type of fireplace and venting to purchase, even though we didn’t purchase it through them. They were incredibly fast, communicated well, showed up when they said they would, left our home spotless (which is hard to do with a project this size), and made sure everything was working as it should. I wish all construction crews were as professional as they were. If you are looking for a new fireplace, don’t look any further and just book them! A big thank you to Mark, Patrick, Trisha, and Kristen!!

  We are still working on the finishing touches so the outside is still in the works but the fireplace itself, the install, and just working with chimney sweeps of America in general, amazing! They were awesome, fair pricing and excellent work. We are looking to use them for our other other fireplace replacement as well :)

  We hired Chimney Sweeps of America to remove our gas stove and install a wood-burning stove. They came out and installed it very quickly and professionally. Our contractor requested they come back and clean up part of the installation, which they promptly did with no complaints and did a fantastic job. We love the stove and highly recommend them!

  Chimney Sweeps of America came out and did a routine chimney cleaning and inspection. If that was all that was done, I would have given them 5 stars as their scheduling team was awesome and they came out as scheduled with no problems whatsoever.
  
  However, at the time of inspection I was told I would need to parge my chimney and install a new damper to bring my fireplace up to code. I scheduled this and had the work done. What I was NOT told was that this new damper would be an entirely different type of damper and they would need to "demo" my chimney to "create room." I have attached pictures and you will see what is left is a large, unfinished, unprofessional looking hole where my old damper used to be, as well as additional space where a row of bricks was cut out haphazardly. This is not the end product I was expecting for $1600.
  
  When I contacted them, the owner apologized and offered to come out and paint everything black to try and make it look better.
  
  I am writing this review to forewarn anyone else who may be thinking of hiring this company for this service.

  We had a gas fireplace installed through Chimney Sweeps, and the process was very smooth. They were very helpful when working with us to find the fireplace that best fit our space, and when it came to installation, Pat was awesome. He is very thorough and precise, building out the frame to the exact dimensions I provided based on our design. One of the logs arrived broken from shipping, but Kevin came out the next week and quickly replaced it for us.
  They also coordinated the gas line extension as well as the electrician to run power to, and above, the fireplace, making the process much easier on our end.
  I finished the design with brick vaneers, but they will also recommend finishers if needed.
